I have used Expedia in the past, and when you don't need to make a change to a reservation , it's fine. BUT IF YOU ARE TRAVELING OUT OF THE COUNTRY AND NEED TO MAKE A HOTEL RESERVATION CHANGE, WAY AHEAD OF THE CUT OFF DATE, EXPEDIA IS LESS THAN USELESS! I have called them 4 times over the past 12 days to have my hotel reservation in Greece shortened by just one day. “Bad customer service”

My hotel called expedia to get us a room with a different hotel because they were overbooked. We were at the beach for a meeting. I had booked a hotel with a indoor pool because it was still cold. I wanted an indoor pool and not to be downtown where the streets would be blocked off for the azalea festival. “Flight cancelled, need refund”

My flight was cancelled due to bad weather. I called Expedia and was put on hold for one hours and twenty five minutes. The lady would pick up every 15 minutes to tell me to continue to hold. My family has been a customer of Expedia for years. I booked a flight/hotel package to London which I need to change as my father passed away yesterday. Well, I've talked to several people, the last person is "talking" to Virgin Atlantic supposedly, but I'm sure she's gone to dinner and has left me on line. They want to charge me DOUBLE. “They are no help and you have to do everything...”

It started with my flight being cancelled! Expedia was no help at all. They couldn't get in-touch with my hotel to tell them we wouldn't be there until the next day. I got in-touch with them myself and re-did my reservation. I will never deal with expedia again!!! You can do it yourself and we bought the insurance and you are on your own, who knows if they will pay or not. “Horrible Customer Support Wait time”

I booked a flight through expedia and purchased the insurance because things happen. Well a week before the flight, i called to see about changing the dates for travel. The first time I called the automated system said wait time was 30 minutes. I was not able to wait, so I called back that same day. I will never use expedia.com to book travel ever again. That is unfortunate since we book 2-3 vacations a year. We just had to spend $2600 on flights the day of our trip since the rep on the phone kept us on hold for so long while we were trying to change our flight that expedia cancelled our flights. I spent my whole day calling and holding or being disconnected from Exprdia just trying to make one simple change. I'm getting totally screwed over by Expedia. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. “Three hours on the phone to correct a spelling mistake ”

Expedia will never be used again. They bumped my designated seats on both flights. Prices for a nonstop flight were more than I should have paid. They do not answer the phone . Wait time of over 45 minutes. Then, you get a foreigner who speaks very poor English. Bumped my returning flight to 4 separate seats, with a seven year old travelling alone. We booked a car retal at the airport through expedia for AVIS. Although you pay for it they dont tell you about the 800$ in "fees" and "mandatory" insurances they sucker you with at the airport. Expedia are the worst company that I have ever dealt with. Whilst booking a hotel on the Expedia website, the site bounced me back a page and unbeknown to me, changed the date of the booking. I emailed Expedia straight away and got an automated response saying that they would look into it. I purchased a flight on Expedia for a Thursday 5/7 leaving IL at 2:15pm and arriving in FL at 5:50. Coming home from Fl Saturday 5/9 at 6:25 and arriving in IL at 8:15. I planned to go for a friends wedding.
