Never again will i book with through expedia. I logged onto my account and it showed that the room will be a rate of 81. 00 however after booking and ready to pay it shows me 107. 00 per night. I called expedia and was on the hone with them for almost an hour and no one was able to help me. “2017 Hotel stay at Quality Inn in Modesto, CA has BED...”

Expedia did a good job in booking this stay. However, I was double charged by the hotel. I attempted to contact the manager for 3 days after with no response. Expedia is the one who gave me a voucher and refund, not the hotel. After 2 weeks of being at home, I found bed bug larvae all over my luggage. I then remember seeing a grown bed bug in my room, thinking it was a baby roach. I then looked up past reviews on this place, which have bed bug reviews!! Sold me a smoking a room without disclosing that it was a smoking room before I booked the room. Did not stay there and checked into a different hotel. Booked a hotel room for December 2017 for 2 nights. Was very excited got confirmation, credit card charged, then 1/2 later get a cancellation notice from expedia telling me the hotel cancelled and it was probably due to my credit card. I was going to purchase tickets thru expedia when it showed a lower price than American Airlines, however midway through the purchase, it raised prices on me to more than American Airlines and asked me to confirm and finish paying. I had a $1,140.00 credit I had to use within a year. For the last month.. 10 calls and 14 people, each call lasting over an hour.. the last one over 2 hours! They say you have a year to use it (credit) after 30 days it goes off the books and then they have to create a FAKE flight to get the credit BACK under your name, then they have to figure out HOW to apply it to the trip you actually want. I won't tell the full story of how I was on the phone; on hold, explaining, and then explaining again how I was wronged, only to be put back on hold for another (up to) 45-50 minutes! They still haven't solved my problem over two weeks and I've been wrongfully charged $741 for a hotel that had free cancellation and no pre booking fee!! I booked a cruise with Expedia, Balt to Balt on Royal Carribean. My friend was married 2x and divorced, so her birth certificate doesn't match her driver's license, and she doesn't have a passport.
