Booked a hotel room and was over charged $500 When I contacted them of course you don't get someone who can speak English. Credited us $280 out of $500 and gave us a $100 credit on our account. Tried to book another room later and use this so called credit and they wanted to charge us $255 after getting the credit for a room that I booked directly with the hotel for $119. “Refuses refund per their policy, double billed”

Don't book anything via Expedia. They charge your credit cards as soon as reservations are made. If they make error, you will be given a run a round even when they give you confirmation a full refund is due and you will have it with in 7 business days charged back to card. They blame hotels for their error. After this trouble, Please do use their site to find hotels, plane tickets and the like, then call for your reservations personally, you get the same price as you would thru Expedia or any… Read Full Review

This is a review for my whole Expedia experience. I booked flights and a car 2 days ago to visit my sick grandmother and now found out that she only has a few days left to live. I confirmed a hotel reservation through Expedia for August 23, 2016 in Grand Junction CO. AT 7.33 pm we called the hotel to confirm our late arrival, A little after 9 pm we arrived only to find out our reservation was cancelled supposeably by Expedia according to the hotel, even though we had confirmed the reservation earlier. My wife and I travelled to Vienna from Heathrow by lufthansa last month and while booking we were told by Expedia staff that our entitlement to luggage was 24 kgs each besides our hand luggage.Well at the check in we were told that there was no free baggage and we had to pay £25.The check in staff did tell me that expedia often gives wrong information and we were not the first ones. “6 hours on hold”

Rebooking equals disaster I had to cancel a trip to India, booked on a United flight. I was able to cancel the flight fine, and even get credit for another United flight.... Then it became ugly.
