Good Points: excellent design, great customer service, a dream kitchen within our budget.

Bad Points: we had bought 4 kitchens over the last 10 years. All from independent bespoke kitchen companies. Me and my husband wished we had used magnet for all of these projects.

General comments: me and my husband are not the type to write reviews, however we found the service we received at magnet Bournemouth to be so AMAZING that we felt we needed to let people know about it. in the past we have spent up to and including £25'000 on kitchens thinking spending this kind of money would buy our dream kitchen. we have just spent a fraction of this amount on a magnet kitchen. the service and product we received was nothing short of superb. the designer was very skilled, professional and made the whole experience a pleasure beginning to end. As did the whole team. Being a little old fashioned, we believed that good customer service was a thing of the past. Magnet kitchens have proved us wrong. As we have had quite a few kitchens over the last ten years, we were aware that things do go wrong, and it can be a very disruptive time. me and my husband had come to terms, that this was the same for all kitchen companies. With magnet however, the whole project ran like a dream. everything that was promised was delivered. In short. any one looking for a new kitchen should visit the team at magnet kitchens in Bournemouth.

In short, Magnet Kitchens was an amazing experience! Me and my husband are over the moon with our new Magnet kitchen. The team at Bournemouth were so professional, and it was clear that customer service was so important to them. Nothing was too much trouble and we got the impression that they really cared about our needs. Our kitchen was finished last week and me and my husband can't fault it, even though he is very difficult to please. If any one is looking to buy a new kitchen, I would quite ...

After visiting all the kitchen shops in the area and getting several quotes we decided to go ahead with Magnet..Peterborough. We were very happy with the service we received from Magnet, from design to fitting and most of all we love our new kitchen,

Excellent design, and we worked well together to refine it before fitting started and then afterwards as I changed what I wanted once I saw it in 3D! The designer and fitter were always responsive and flexible. Fitting quality great - nearly finished and already it looks brilliant. My experience based on the skills of 2 people, so quite dependent on them as individuals.

It was the last day of the sale and the store was closing at 5. The sales guy just wanted to go home & we really wanted a kitchen "a £12000 kitchen". The guy did not hold any information about finance and the store was closing. He then explained in order to keep the kitchen at the sale price; we would need to put down a deposit. He promised that if we changed our minds about having our Kitchen fitted, they would return the "£1000 at a click of a button" (even showing us the button ...

This review relates to the Farnborough (Hampshire), store. We had the kitchen fitted in October, and it still isn't finished! - They didn't supply a cutlery tray that fits their draws. - They didn't supply a bin that fits under the sink. - The stainless steel sink is going rusty - the first once was worse than the replacement. - The communication between the "manager" and myself is appalling. I ring the manager, he's never available, he rings the fitter and gets him to ring me! - The fitters ...

The electrician left 2 bare wires behind my washing machine that were live and touching which could have been fatal. When I called him back he said Quote 'I really stuffed up there didn't I'Prior to the new cupboards being installed my husband expressed his concern to the joiner that the floor in two places was a little wobbly but the joiner installed the kitchen anyway and didn't appear concerned. We got our own tiler who investigated further and found rotten floorboards and joists. To have th ...

I ordered my kitchen from Magnet in Stirchely, and work began to fit it in September. I was told it would take 3 to 5 days. It is now nearly January and its still not finished. The kitchen was fitted once and had to be removed because both the designer and the fitter on his pre fit inspection failed to mention that the walls needed to be boarded in order to fit the electrics. After the electrics were done, the plasterer decided to hide one of the sockets behind the plasterboard, so I was left wi ...

Magnet is currently fitting a kitchen for us. It is a living nightmare. Have no care about customers once they cash the cheque (2 weeks before delivery). The designer measure wrong. On the day of installation, we had to change the design ourselves. Fitter, very messy, very unreliable

They are supposed to put things right within four weeks but it looks like they are going to run outside three months! The shop is calling me a liar and trying to lay blame elsewhere.I would never recommend Magnet kitchens after my experience.

We had 3 quotes, and they were over £3k dearer, but part of the sales pitch is that you are paying for their reputation and the level of service they provide. As others have said, Magnet Kitchens require payment in full up front - the only firm to do this which rubs salt in the wound when they then fail on so many levels. We had been told it would take a week for installation and then another week for them to custom make the work surface, and then install that. So we were prepared f ...

I had three estimates, Magnet being the most expensive despite their "50% off sale!" But I chose them over John Lewis simply because they said the kitchen would be installed within 5-7 days and that I would never be left without water for more than a few hours per day. I am 7 months pregnant and have a small son. One month into the job and the kitchen is half finished. Half the cupboard doors are waiting to be put on, the refrigerator is sitting in the middle of my sitting room waiting to be ...

Magnet's offer seems glossy on the outside, and the initial experience in store is good. However, once on site, the installation team - who are not employed by Magnet but sub-contracted by them - were not up to the total job. If the installation had have been very simple, then it might have been a different matter. But any complication became a big issue, which resulted in poor workmanship and a 7 week time span to get the job done. And to make matters worse, Magnet already have your money (you ...

Where do I start? My complaint letter to Magnet Kitchens currently stands at 3.5 pages, and the kitchen isn't even fitted. Poor communication is Magnets biggest problem. Had we known that the kitchen we were told would be fitted in a week would take close to three months, I don't think we ever would have proceeded with them. But on top of that, the time we have had to take off from work to supervise the fitter, the way we have had to follow up everything as they don't return calls, and the attit ...

Having paid up front for the Kitchen and Installation we were a bit scared we would not get what we paid for after reading all the reviews posted on sites like this. We need not have worried everything was installed brilliantly and we love our new Magnet Kitchen.

We were initially extremely pleased with the service we received from Magnet. They were extremely pleasant to us right up to the time that they got our cheque, and then things changed literally overnight. The design that they produced basically didn't fit, and they tried to charge us hundreds of pounds to re-plumb. After 13 months we are still awaiting replacement of a faulty tap and basin. They are very poor.

I wasn't one bit satisfied with the service given by Magnet kitchens. Although the design stage went well, once they took our money, we recieved a horrible service. I would've liked to have known that there was only one fitter to serve the whole of the Republic of Ireland. I think the overall product offered by Magnet kitchens was good but once installed was not of merchantable quality and two years on we are still looking for the dozens of mistakes Magnet have made to be repaired. We have ...

Magnet - don't use them if you want any way half decent customer service. They will promise you the sun, moon & stars but as soon as they get your money they become stroppy, unwilling to help, disinterested.
