I was interested in temping, so after seeing job ads they had posted, I thought my skills would be put to good use. I had to call in 6 times only to be told that the consultant was "busy", " on the phone", "meeting a client", " on a lunch break" and that I will be phoned back- phoned back my backside! When I finally told them that I've already called 6 times without a reply I was finally put through, only to be rudely told that I had no experience! Mind you, I've worked as a PA and as an... My partner had a similar experience to this. On further investigation it seemed its because when under pressure they just put various candidates forward with little regards to their suitability, when the employer then rejects the lot you get the not enough experience baloney. Steer clear, they are just after the fees from employers rather than any genuine service.
