I have had to arrange for someone to be at home for the past four, going on, five weeks to have a faulty item uplifted. Phone calls elisit assurance that it will be picked up within the next 7 days, but no one ever turns up. I have also contacted them by email which results in an apology and a promise that it will be picked up in 7 days, but still no show. I ordered a few personalised items for my son as xmas presents and two of them came broken. Called to have them returned and this was resolved with a new one however my experience in general was still appauling!! customer service is rubbish and most of all the quality of products is rubbish! To top it off aswell,i got charges that came from nowhere on my bill so ended up paying alot more than i should have done! This was my first (and last) experience with Ace! I ordered a personalised kids toy for a Christmas present. When I received it, it was broken. I had to phone to arrange to return it and have a replacement sent. Seems simple enough doesn't it. The customer service staff were to be fair friendly and seemed helpful BUT half the time what they said they would do didn't actually happen. Ordered a product had emails confirming on its way and no problems. Wrong product turned up and basically they dont care less . Just said my product was out of stock so this was a replacement and had debited account for same amount despite the product sent being much cheaper. Attitude was very much that's what we do and now i have all the inconvenience of sorting it out. After being a good customer for years, I have ordered a pair of boots which do not fit, I phoned customer service and was told I would have to pay for the return of the boots, I would never order cloths or boots from this company ever again as I have already paid for the delivery of these boots, I think it is unfair to ask to pay for the return also, most company's would pay for the return. I first purchased from Ace 7 years ago as I thought their Christmas stuff looked good ( I think that's how they hook a lot of their customers) A few items arrived, but a lot of it wasn't in stock, so had to wait for that (free gift didn't arrive either, even after I chased it up) I have seldom ordered from this company since, as the 'credit charge' is just ridiculous when compared to the actual quality of the goods - you would be far better using your credit card and buying better stuff AND... Opened an account and wanted to track my parcel arriving to make sure someone was at home to receive the parcel. Couldn't track it as I didnt have an account number. Rang their 0870 number and asked for my account number. Went through data protection with them and was then told due to data protection they couldn't give me my account number but could send it in the post. Recently I purchased some furniture from 24Ace, which I hasten to add, took nearly FOUR months for all items to finally arrive!! The 'stuff' they sell looks good, the prices also look good, so I bought some clothes from them. They arrived in a reasonable time (sometimes). I always try to write unbiased reviews when it comes to shopping catalogues but OMG what a sham!!!! I made an application to 24ace and when I filled in the details on the website, at the end there was no end page to advise you of the process. I left it and so a week later a catalogue arrives with an order form and on it advising me of £150 credit. "Great" I think, there are some good deals, I will make an order. Absolutely awful company. Do NOT bother ordering any items from them if they are for Birthday/Christmas presents as they will NOT arrive until months later. They do not tell you this when you order, but when you place an order some items are expected to be in stock a month later, then they will constantly change the due date, I am STILL waiting for my order after 3 months of waiting. I have endeavoured to order a Prestige Electric Wok by phone, don't bother!!!! after five minutes of questions I started to lose the will to live and we haven't ordered anything yet!! i had a catalogue with ace cards & gifts.in total i had £1000 worth of goods they charged me £35 extra every month .if i made a late payment they put extra charge on top as well .at 1st it seems like a good catalogue but its not im disgusted with this company . i even paid for payment protection which i was refused for when i had some problems paying them .my bill went up more than down .i would never recommend this catalogue 2 any1 . I have been a member of the ACE company for 2 years plus and have found that their service is deplorable for the following reasons:
1) On more than one occasion I have ordered goods on-line and have been given expected delivery dates, many of which have simply got longer and longer and on more than one occasion the item has simply been cancelled by them. I placed an order for an amount that would have given me free delivery but due to a query on one item the order was delivered split therefore ACE said I had to pay 2 lots of delivery. Do Not use this company. I did not receive any communication acknowledging my order or account. When calling the customer centre I got told they don't give you an acknowledgement or an account number until you have already received your first order, so you can't check on the status of the order. To make Christmas easier I ordered some gifts and wrapping paper, cards, tags etc from the catalogue.

I have just received a statement where I have incurred £21.13 in late payment charges, but I have never received the first statement!
Was promised a free tin of Roses chocolates with my first order which have never been received
When I try to call their customer services a recording tells me that they are very busy and cannot take my call. You then get cut off!Have used them once, but will never use them again!
Only wish I had read the previous comments before I ordered from them!

I ordered a jacket which was then found to be too small. I returned it to 24Ace within 3 days of receiving it. I then found that they have still charged it to my account. I also noticed that they have charged me a credit charge on the outstanding account (yes, for the jacket that I no longer have). I have since then posted a letter to the manager. I have never had a problem with 24ace. I have used them many times. Everything has arrived when required to or before. I am very happy with the service. Made first order with 24 Ace and received goods with delivery note which said a statement would be sent in due course. It wasn't, apparently the delivery note was the statement, the next statement that arrived contained administration costs of £21.51 for an overdue payment. Out of order as payment details were most definitely unclear. They have refused to refund offering instead a voucher worth £30 off my next order. (read more)

24Ace: I have had battle after battle with 24ace. I ordered a mobile phone, which was quite important to me. This took a massive 10 weeks to arrive, this was only after countless phone calls to numerous call centres talking to people who were not helpful.

1) numerous telephone calls to the company "help" line only not to be helped but passed to another section still not able to solve a simple return problem.
