Curb Your Enthusiasm is at once one of the funniest programs on TV, ever, and at the same time one of the most frustrating things I have ever experienced in my life. Larry David's program is unscripted. He brings a rough outline of each show's plot to filming and the actors all improvise their lines. You would never know, so perfect is their interaction.

Larry David plays himself surrounded by a cast of actors playing fictional characters and Hollywood stars playing themselves. The premise is he is a nice guy, trying to go about his daily life but is constantly putting his foot in his mouth or finding himself in bizarre and uncomfortable situations. While not a mean or nasty man, he is often viewed as being stupid and petty and is constantly misconstrued by friends and strangers alike.

This show is full of ridiculous and bizarre quotable moments and if you don't get stressed easily watching him dig himself further and further into a hole every week (e.g. refusing to take his shoes off after he turns up late to an ex-porn star's dinner party only to find himself confronted by the man he accidentally snubbed at the driving range the day before) you will adore it.

The impression I get is that the industry meetings and friendly get-togethers in the Curb Your Enthusiasm series are the way he really experiences those aspects of his life. Very believable, and you want to be a part of that classic Hollywood lifestyle, meetings, friends, shopping, and dinner parties etc. I absolutely love it! I watc ...
