    Good Points: Very funny.

Bad Points: Only that too few episodes were created. Oh, several scenes contain images which can only be described as "violent slapstick."

General comments: The Young Ones was created in the early part of the 1980's and it showcased a plethora of youthful UK comedic writing and acting talent, many of the individuals concerned continue to enjoy success, whether it be from writing or perfoming to this very day. The show has a "cult" following in the UK and was broadcast on the British Broadcasting Corporation. People like Rik Mayall, Nigel Planner, Ade Edmunson, Ben Elton, French and Saunders, Alexi Sayle are names synonymous with this period of British comedy. I would recommend the Young Ones, as it is mint. Our Marrrk often recreates scenes from the show and is always doing them daft "press-ups" that Viv does at that party. The show has that rare ability to be watchable time and time again, so add it to your DVD collection is my tip.
