“Can work out expensive”

Cannot fault the customer service or vehicle condition/quality...but the fact that the insurance excess for my hire was £1000 which could be reduced to £100 by paying an extra £16 a day means what they advertise as the daily rate is actualy higher (in my case to the tune of £16 a day) Obviously it was my choice to reduce the excess...i just wonder how many people actualy don't take it up. “Booking Chaos”

I initially booked a car for three days via the online booking form, this was completed and the paperwork supplied. However on conracting thge local site I was informed that no car was avail;able. I agreed to change the date to the next day and was quoted a price for two days. On ringing to ask for a pickup I was told that the booking did not exist. “Not using again”

I booked a car rental from Enterprise in the City Centre of Glasgow as I was on holiday here and was going to visit the Pandas in Edinburgh Zoo. My booking was done via telephone on friday 19/07/13. “Cars all right, but I can give Enterprise a clue.”

I was unlucky enough to have to hire two cars via Enterprise when my Chrysler had to go for repairs,under warranty, twice in 2010. The first was a C-class saloon 1.8 petrol, the second a C class saloon diesel. They were both delivered to my home address and dropped off at the dealers in Manchester. Nothing wrong with the first delivery, on time, but they had made a poor job of cleaning the car. After washing it throughly and vacuuming it, it became acceptable. Thank you for your reply I will be in touch and try to get as many details as I can but this hiring was in 2010 and I may have discarded the rental agreement by now. I am glad you are happy to help, but in view of all the adverse reviews you have been receiving I think you will agree that Enterprise need to address their shortcomings and do something about turning matters around. The second vehicle I returned to Manchester, as with all the vehicles I hire, could have been hired straight out , but this is the main point why was the vehicle not received in the same condition.

“Faulty Fuel Gauges on their Corsa's?”

I have now rented 2 Corsa's from Enterprise - one a 1.2 and one a 1.4, both brand new. Both times with a full tank of fuel. I only did roughly 35-40 miles in both and re-filled the tank right up to the brim on return - £10 - £11. Yet both times, the fuel gauge didn't move! Excuse last time was, "oh sometimes they take a while to register"? I sat in the car for 10 mins and no movement! Sounds suspicious to me. Anyone else had this experience?… Read Full Review

I use them a lot for work and the car's have on the whole always been ok, although sometimes only have just enough fuel to get you to the garage!
Also don't believe their slogan "the company that picks you up", you always get hit with excuses because of lack of staff, weather conditions etc… Read Full Review

Both the times I have rented a car from Enterprise I was provided with "nearly new" cars. The first had run 3000 miles, and the second had clocked just 2000 miles.

The thing that really matters - the cars - are excellent. Also, the quote is very good!
