Took rental car back to Enterprise after two weeks rental and the representative said 'no problems we will refund your 150 GBP' as there was no damage to the vehicle. Two weeks later I called them (from my home in Australia) and asked about my deposit. They then claimed that 30 minutes after I dropped off the vehicle the rear tyre was flat and had to be replaced as it was so badly damaged. They said they tried to call me later during the same day but I have no record of any call. Still waiting t ...

The accident damage scam happened to us also.
Hired a one way rental, was shown round car with particular emphysis on the scrape the full length of the car.
When we returned the car the person checking it in discovered a minor dent to the bodywork high up which could ony be seen when the sun shone accross it.
We were told we would have to pay for its repair from the £100 deposit even though we had not done the damage, car driven straight home then into the garage.
Said we were not happy wi ...

Arranged car hire 3 days ago, following an accident,Enterprise failed to pick me up, only had a A class car left, forced to take to get home.

Having to take time off work because i just will not drive the car out of my drive, although it might be safe, i just don't feel safe.

Petrol tank empty, car has scratches, wheeltrims have seen better days and its a new car. quirky clutch, can't find the brake pedal with my size of feet.

Very unhappy, will update again when I start shouting tomorrow.

Wish it were possible to give a no stars rating.

Having to wait for two hours in their office for another customer to return the car we had booked should have told me that Enterprise Ireland is not the same as Enterprise US.

Four days into a ten-day family trip I hit a rock that jutted into a small country lane and flattened a tire (a very common occurance I've since learned). After unloading gear we found that there was no spare tire. Calling Enterprise got us several hours of runaround, unti ...

I have been renting cars from Enterprise since last four years from their Romford branch.
I have got no complaints what so ever with that particular branch as they have been brilliant every time I have hired a car with them.

The staff have been brilliant and I have seen few staff change during the period but all of them have been excellant.

I had tried previously once three years back to get a car from their walthamstow branch which as always I booked online couple of weeks in advance. When ...

I will never rent from Enterprise again. I returned a car with a slight scratch on the bumper and I was told that it would not cost more than £60 to fix. After 36 days waiting when I returned the vehicle, my £100 bond was kept and without my knowledge an extra £280 was taken from my account. I asked Enterprise to contact me on the price and not once in the 36 days was I contacted as to what was happening, all I had seen was the money taken from my account without my knowledge. ...

I've used Enterprise Car Rental in Chatham many times and always found the service very good. The weekend specials are very cheap - around £12 per day for a small car (check online - but you have to ask to make sure you're getting the special price).

However, the last time I hired the car ended up with a very small dent in the front wing. I always check the car very thoroughly before hiring (go over it with a fine tooth comb - this is essential!) and have to admit it wasn't there when I ...

There are, and have been varying reports about Enterprise Car Rental. This may depend to a large extent on the particular branch of Enterprise one uses. For my part I went to their Chichester, Hampshire, UK branch and received excellent service. There was a full explanation of all the costs involved and a Corsa was ordered, but at the actual time of picking up the car it had turned into a Toyota Prius and there was no extra cost. The car was clean and proved excellent. It was their automatic ver ...

Very friendly, very reasonably priced service at Enterprise Car Rental. There were no hidden caveats, everything was just as advertised. I was sceptical at first but it was actually that good.

Having used four different Enterprise branchs in the UK over the last couple of months I have had no bad experiences. They were all quite happy to pick me up and drop me off.

The cars were always clean and tidy and there were never any unexpected charges at a later date. The deposit was always paid back the day the car was returned.

I always phoned the branch direct to make the booking and found the staff to be very helpful and pleasant. Pick up and drop off was always speedy and efficient. De ...

Really poor procedure that lost them our business. How can Enterprise expect me to pay to be insured, when I can't even drive the car! Can't complain on their website, without creating an account with them.

I made a reservation via the net. Within 20mins someone called to asked if I still wanted the car. I said yes that's why I just booked it. Great booked for 9:30.

The buses were on strike that morning so I called and asked for a pick up. They said they could not guarantee one until between 10:30 and 11:00. So obviously I made my way there on foot.

When I got there I was then informed that I would need 2 proofs of address not more than 3 months old in addition to my full UK drivers licence a ...

When I dropped the car off, they returned me to the garage where my car was being repaired (the other side of town!). They were competitively priced and very helpful and friendly. Our car broke down and had to get a hire car in a rush. We used the Enterprise branch in Nottingham on Meadow lane. The service was great and I would certainly use them again....

Pleasant service when booking the car. I would not recommend you rent a one way hire with enterprise car rental. They overcharged me, despite being assured when I dropped off the car at LAX that they would correct the mistake. I emailed both their customer services and the branch manager directly and never received a reply.

I twice drove in to Enterprise at Yeovil to change over a vehicle and they had no vehicle available. They took £500 for a small dent and after prompting several time Enterprise paid back only £167 on what was probably a £50 repair. I had rented from Enterprise for 4 months and had an agreement with Enterprise at Yeovil that my final month would be free of charge because they had not paid the compensation. I then discover they had taken amounts totalling several hundred pounds f ...

I only wish I had read these reviews before. Have the same story, hired vehicle for a couple of days, on return alleged damage to vehicle (small dents on bonnet). Argued with representative but colleague who checked vehicle prior stated they weren't there and I had signed to say that I had checked vehicle over as un-marked. Had to pay a set damage charge of £50.00. Had decided never to use them again.
I would not recommend hiring a vehicle from this company.
