Utterly dreadful. How on earth did this go on for so many series? The humour wasn't funny, the characters were wooden, as was most of the acting. The phrase "flogging a dead horse" might seem appropriate, but that kind of implies there was actually a live horse that died, whereas 2 Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps was one nag that probably was glue fodder after the first page of script.

I'm amazed at the high reviews for Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps. It's badly written, poorly acted and the jokes belong in a playground. Nothing clever or even funny about it.- Read Angels Sin's review (35 words)

The characters are brilliant. Gaz is the best, everything about 2 pints is just great, I love watching it. I didn't like it that Jonny left, I think they should bring him back and say he got mistaken for someone else and Gaz thinks he's a ghost! I love it.- Read Guest's review (49 words)

Two Pints of Lager, I'm inclined to agree with the lack of critical acclaim its widely received. The jokes are largely gags based on smut with little development. It provides a stark contrast to shows like 'The Office' which is rightly hailed as the greatest comedy of modern times. If you're into 'You've Been Framed', 'The Kumars at no. 42' and other main stream tripe this ones for you. It isn't terrible, it's no ' Little Miss Joceyln' - funny wigs and stupid accents! Just mediocre generally la ...- Read lockers's review (101 words)

The general acting and script of the series is brilliant, and the laughing is non-stop. It doesn't linger on story lines for too long, making each episode different. Did I mention the laughter?
Not many people in comedy series' can act, but in this show the actors are excellent, they are what makes it stand out above the rest.- Read Eddiew's review (75 words)

I initially avoided this programme because of Will Mellor, the thought of watching him for half an hour put me off, to be honest. I just happened to watch an episode because there was nothing else on and I was surprised to find it was very funny. The humour does often carry an adult theme so I would urge caution before letting the kiddies watch it, I believe if you like things like American Pie and US-style "teen" comedies this show would be right up your street. The show can be found on BBC2 ab ...- Read Anonymous101's review (176 words)

It is one of the few good comedies on television. Although both series 5 and 6 are vastly less good than the previous series. There is less energy and bad supporting characters with the loss of characters such as Munch and Flo, as well bad story lines.
None the less, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps is overall, especially series 1 and 2) an excellent programme that young people can relate to and enjoy, being both witty and amusing.- Read Blackburn2378's review (137 words)

I am glad the Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps show gets such wonderful reviews, because it just never fails to make me laugh. The actors are perfectly chosen for their parts, and the story lines are original and surprising. I have seen every episode at least twice now, and I am still watching it on BBC3... I hope they are making a new series!- Read poeshke's review (72 words)

Many years ago I turned on to BBC2 and started watching Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps ,little did I know that 5 years down the line that same programme would be such a big part of what I watch on tv,I don't think that this show has won enough awards as it's one of the best young peoples comedies that has ever been written.- Read tonygelder's review (91 words)

Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps - This comedy is the best British comedy in years. Good writer, brilliant actors, good storylines. Should have won more awards. I think it is as good as Little Britian if not even better.- Read callumbradc's review (55 words)
