When Little Britain first entered our living room, we couldn't get enough of it. Laugh after laugh, sketch after sketch it never failed to disappoint in the comical department. A few shows later, with the last series now going into the repetition stage, the humour is starting to age - not good at all for a show that used to have me in stitches.
WHAT IS IT?
Little Britain is a comical sketch show, played by Matt Lucas and David Walliams, whom re-enact the daily life of certain groups of peo ...- Read wbafcben's review (1898 words)

I hate this programme and it annoys me that people give Walliams and Lucas so much respect for it.
I am not the sort of person who lectures other people on what they should watch on tv and what is respectable because the UK is a free country and I don't have that right. However, I get genuinely angry when people rave about this show and I have difficulty in holding my tongue in such circumnstances.
I think that Little Britain is only watched because people are excited by the way it is unPC an ...- Read rds1's review (380 words)

If you don't mind bad taste, you will enjoy this excellent series broadcast on the BBC network. Very funny, usually on about 9.00pm or so.- Read Anonymous101's review (30 words and 1 comment)

A great piece of Briish Comedy, the latest in a great line of British Comedy. Cleese, Cook, Enfield, Lucas and Walliams all stand shoulder to shoulder.
Many oblique slights and references to UK culture as well as the obvious gags there are many other more subtle layers to this "catch pgorse" comedy show. I think it is keenly observed and it show you have made it when you are imitated so quickly!

Little Britain is surely one of last year's best comedies depicting life in the surreal 'Little Britain' a mirror image of our Britain with a bit of craziness thrown in through good measure. The comedy acts as a sort of docu-drama but the filming is like that of a sitcom. Tom Baker of Doctor Who fame narrates this wild jaunt through the towns of Herby, Llandewi Breffi among others with lines like 'It's quarter to (insert person's name here) in the Welsh village of Llandewi Breffi...' which sets ...- Read Jamezz's review (193 words and 1 comment)

Why does everybody in the country like this rubbish? In my opinion it's really offensive. The Vicky Pollard character especialy. It's 2 middle class white boys making snobbish fun at the less fortunate, eg, the disabled, the mentaly ill, as well as young working class teenagers and single mums. David Walliams and George Daws are talentless idiots. Some of these punch lines are straight from the 1970's. Chubby Brown or Jim Davison would be less offensive and funnier. I'm no prude. I love Chris Mo ...- Read Battan3000's review (159 words and 6 comments)

Little Britain has to be the best thing to ever happen to British comedy. All the characters are hilarious and have their own unique catchphrases (eh eh eeehhh!) and you'll find yourself saying your fave character's one at work, etc., till you drive everyone crazy!!! All in all, if you're looking for half an hour of non-stop laughter you've definitely found what you're looking for!!!- Read candypops's review (75 words)

Little Britain is the funniest and most entertaining programme on television. It has a clever dialogue and is visibly funny and has blessed us with brilliant characters and wonderful catchphrases. The DVD has brilliant extras such as deleted scenes, interviews, the making of.., pilot episode and Little Britain live. It was worth every penny and can be watched over and over again!- Read Rose711's review (67 words)

What can I say about Little Britain that hasn't already been said? It's easily the funniest thing on TV at the moment. The creators, Matt Lucas and David Walliams, are comic geniuses who make dressing up like women into a feast of hilarity. It's narrated very cleverly by Tom Baker with tongue-in-cheek commentary about the strange backwardness of the alternate version of Britain created by Lucas and Walliams. The recurring characters are brilliantly developed, particularly the lazy man in the w ...- Read PixieOfDoom's review (173 words)
