Good Points: Quick fire quiz, chance to win money and prizes. You can play along at home, especially when one of the families is conferring.

Bad Points: None really, the ad break interuption is a real moot point in our house.

General comments: A stalwart of ITV broadcasting, I would recommend this show as it is good wholesome family fun, Family Fortunes pits opposing families in a contest of answering quick-fire questions in order to gain control of the game. The game hots up as we move through the rounds and ultimately the deciding BIG MONEY, which decides which family goes through to the exciting finale. Two family members must answer a series of quick fire questions against the clock for the most popular answers of people independantly surveyed. The rewards include cash windfalls and luxurious prizes. Family Fortunes was actually de-comissioned for a short time and saw its loveable presenter sacked. Following a re-think the show has returned to British screens with a Celebrity makeover presented by that Vernon Kay lad.
