“Flight ticket hacks”

Don't fall for these guys again. I found a better option -I remember signing up with my Opensky Secured Card for cheaper airfare hacks and lodging.Rocketsky team is a certified cyberspace expert who specializes in hacking and lowering airline tickets for people. Travel the world for almost half the price of the initial price. I experienced these topnotch services when I booked First Class tickets {return} and hotel reservations at cheaper rates when I traveled to Auckland, New Zealand last August. That saved me about $3800 from my expenses. They also save you less time and stress in getting available reservations, which is why I recommend it to everyone you can reach out via telegram {rocketskycredit} for your cheap tickets and accomodation fee

“double billing and unknown fees”

Had to fly to Joburg with Lufthansa, first flight was with star alliance carrier AIR CANADA, was slapped with a $55.00 fee for having sporting goods. Upon return Lufthansa also felt they should charge me with a sporting goods fee in joburgh, was informed it was in effect for joburg and Italy another $235.00 US Buyer beware with Lufthansa

“Poor service and management”

For flight from Chennai to Chicago via Frankfurt: Following are the complains: 1) Fruit Platter was ordered for passenger nearly 2 to 3 months before the flight, but normal food was provided. The air hostess informed they do not have fruit platter onboard. This has resulted in passenger having to go hungry due to your poor management. 2) The seats provided by paying additional money were 30D, 30E, 30F, which at time of booking were the 1st row seats with additional legroom, but to our dismay in the plane these seats were found to be 2nd row with constrained space as usual. During booking the seats, we had even acknowledged the information on emergency exit procedures. Why the actual row of the seats is diffrernt than that during booking time. What is the use of paying additional seat booking money when we get something else in reality. The seat booking money should be re-imbursed. 3) There was no service of water or other liquids during intervals between the meals by the cabin crew. Yes they informed that self service i in pantry. But we get in and out easily with front seats inclined and curtailing out ability to move. 4) The quality of snacks served is very poor,It consists of white flour cooked items. It should be whole wheat or high fibre diet which is good for health. 5) The quality of food and service is better in Frankfurt-Chicago run with respect to Chennai to Frankfurt run. This shows difference in attitude to the race of people.

“dont believe them”

We are currently sat in Buenos Aires airport to fly to Frankfurt. Two days Ago paid to reserve two seats in economy, when I checked in assigned different seats, telephoned and I told had not booked them, after insisting I had told that I had been allocated other seats: rang the next day and told the transaction time had expired so Lufthansa took the money in time but not enough time for them to reserve seats. Appalling customer service will follow up with formal complaint on return to UK-don't trust Lufthansa!

“very inconvenient lat schedule change, delay, no TV...”

I booked a flight Amsterdam-San Francisco (23.08)and return Las Vegas-Amsterdam (06.09). At booking, each flight had very convenient departure times and each flight had only ONE stopover (the longest stopover being cca.4h). This is why I actually booked Lufthansa. Not long before departure, they changed: -the flying times (instead of a plane departing at 14:00, we were scheduled to depart from AMS at 16:00) -the airports of the stopovers (instead of Washington, we changed in FRANKFURT on the way to San Fran) - what bothered me the most: they changed also the number of stopovers (instead of one stopover in Atlanta, we had one in DENVER AND ONE IN FRANKFURT on the way back). This was a nightmare as we had to wait over 4h on our last leg before boarding for a 45 min. flight to AMS. We arrived 4h later than initially planned. I would have liked to know they had the right to change the times like that, I EVEN WANTED TO CANCEL THE WHOLE TRIP, BUT WE MADE SOME NON CANCELLABLE HOTEL BOOKINGS, SO we were obliged to accept their changes). Even with the changes, in Frankfurt, there was a 45 min. departing delay towards San Francisco. Once in the plane, the entertainment did not work for the whole 12h flight to SAN Fran, despite several unsuccessful restarts. But there were also positives: we were upgraded to Economy plus on the way to San Fran and we slept very well (we had more space and with no entertainment working, we arrived quite fresh). The food was above the other airlines' standards. The staff was extremely efficient and very helpful in Denver and Frankfurt! In Las Vegas we got the worst service ever from an airline (that leg was operated by united). All in all, it was ok, l am not sure though we will fly lufthansa again.

“Awful vegetarian food ”

It was alright in general - although the inflight entertainment system didn't work at the beginning - but the vegetarian meals were really awful. I am not usually even that fussy, but they really were practically inedible. The rice was hard and crispy and the meal itself was completely tasteless. Would not recommend.

“Not family friendly airline”

If you have large family this is not airline to fly. They do not have a single promotion or policy for large families with three or more kids. On the contrary they charge credit card OPS fee for every child ticket. You have to pay for seat selection for your kids even thou the total price for family is above 2,000Euros. Its still not enough for yellow monster.

MEAN flight attendants. Lufthansa seems to adhere to a "sit down and shut up" school of customer service. Flight attendant verbally abused me for not letting her know I had ordered a special meal and blamed me for "ruining everything." Aiy!!!


Flight to Europe had old school TVs in the middle of plane that you can't even really see. Flight back to U.S had individual TVs. A considerable percentage of passengers had their seat assignments mixed up so they could not sit next to their friends/family. Might have been a security thing but...it was upsetting that I couldn't sit next to my friend for 11 hour flight.

Flight was on time though and nice take off and landing. But won't actively seek out Lufthansa again.

Worst flight every been on. In my 17 years of flying this has to be the worst overseas fight I have ever had. The customer service is good. But for a 9 hour flight, the seats are extremely cramped. Even smaller than domestic fight. When someone pushed there chair back your face literally was kissing the end of his chair ( I am not exaggerating). Just horrible. On top of that the seat width is small so you cant even move. On top of that they miraculously manege to squeeze 3 more people next to you. To top is off they show only 2 movie( one of them just shut off half way)which take about 4 hours. Than nothing. Never flying again on Lufthansa.

How did they manage to get three people next to you, the most you could have is two on one side and one on the other, so the smallest distance to an aisle is the same as sitting in a window seat.

It's OKAY. They flight attendants on one of the flights were bitter and mean. It was really unenjoyable. The chairs on those long haul flights are horrible. The food on that same flight with the bad stewards tasted like feces. It was just okay, and I guess I would recommend the airline.

Lufthansa Flight LH 786, Dec.21 from Frankfurt to Guangzhou, which delayed to Dec.22 adn arrive in Guangzhou on Dec.23, if you are:
* One of the passengers missing your luggages...
* After 5 days, get no information or answers where your luggages are, and when you can get it... or got only answers like "We'll call you back today" but your have never been called back...or just hearing music for hours and the 'ironic' automatic annoucement "Thanks you for your patience..." and you are paying for international telephone fee for nothing...
* And did you also have high extra expenses to cover your daily needs, or did you also have a poor Christmas party as your gifts were missing...or have you also a difficult business trip due to having lost your meeting papers...
Then we should share our informations and experience to get a better chance for our compensation fights against that airline...which more inspires your fighting style then your flight style.

Lufthansa airline does not cater for tall people - i was unable to choose a fire-exit seat. ended up sitting in an aisle-seat with legs trapped between armrest and front seat/down aisle - this must have been annoying for flight attendants due to them having to ask someone to move for me to sit in a window seat with seat in front missing, which left some legroom.

no flight entertainment for 12 hours! yes the flight departed at 2300, but still. they just had a small screen dangling from ceiling with whatever was showing at the time.

staff were friendly though

“Lufthansa business class seats are, by far, the least...”

Lufthansa business class seats are, by far, the least comfortable seats of all the airlines I've flown. They are hard as a rock and cannot be configured in a way that is comfortable to any under 6 feet tall. The seats curves at the wrong angles cutting off circulation to your legs. When you choose the "bed" position, it is not flat but yet sloped at an extreme angle down. Couple the angle with the slippery fabric, you are constantly losing grip and sliding down the seat and winding up at the bottom. The pre-select seating positions force you to be at odd angles sometimes lifted 2 feet above the floor. In addition, dinner service takes them around 2 hours - you are left with your tray / plates left and usually wind up bussing it yourself because you either want to sleep or be in another seated position (the tray does not allow for you to be in any other position except the takeoff/landing position). My second time flying, and I remember now why I never choose them for my monthly Middle East - US trips.

I flew LH from ARN-FRA-YVR for my Grandfathers funeral. I was able to get a last minute ticket quite cheap. I don't remember much of the flight going to Vancouver, but coming home we were served a small meal after take-off, then nothing for over 7 hours! When I went to the back and asked if there were any leftovers buns from lunch I was told they had only chocolate and pretzels. Absolutely horrible for a 10 hour flight! I will only fly LH again if in a serious pinch.

Used to be a Lufthansa senator and fly weekly on business. All was OK ( back in 2003). I know fly economy and would not recommend Lufthansa for economy flights, especially if you fly through FRA. Seriously. I wouldn't. I travel on business often and have done IST to FRA to MAN three times lately and every time has been horrid. Awful food ( burnt on one occasion ), unhelpful staff( I asked for a sandwich instead and was told that was the food I was given so I can not have one) Dire customer service( they don't have a customer complaints team anymore and don't accept telephone calls). They have outsourced customer service and are calling the team " Customer Feedback" ) and FRA airport is undergoing construction work so signage is poor, yet staff at the airport talk to you like you are an idiot/inconvenience just because you missed a temporary sign. Business / Star Alliance Gold or higher is a much better experience.
Clearly Lufthansa don't care for economy.

Looks like luftansa is not interested in the service provided in flights flying from India (Mumbai) to frankfurt.

Firstly the seats are congested for a such a long distance travel.

Ear phones not available to all the passengers, if we ask for one, they say they dont have any in stock, I have 3-4 experiences of this.

Food quality is not upto the brand name status that Luftanza has in the market.

I have had three wonderful flights with this Airline. I was treated with respect and the service was the best I have ever had. I was not on the flight to repose...I was on the flight to go to Germany!!!!!! I was very glad to be there and feel fortunate to have such wonderful service on such a long flight.
