“double billing and unknown fees”

Had to fly to Joburg with Lufthansa, first flight was with star alliance carrier AIR CANADA, was slapped with a $55.00 fee for having sporting goods. “Budget airlines put Lufthansa to shame”

Never again! Lufthansa make budget airlines look good. Customer service is clearly at the bottom of their list of priorities. Having missed a connection at Frankfurt due to them salting an earlier flight. They sent us on a wild goose chase in Frankfurt airport, which is a maze and is run with the lowest modicum of organisation. Not a good place to have to spend any more time than need be. “Poor service and management”

For flight from Chennai to Chicago via Frankfurt: Following are the complains: 1) Fruit Platter was ordered for passenger nearly 2 to 3 months before the flight, but normal food was provided. The air hostess informed they do not have fruit platter onboard. “Terrible reservationist service”

I travel frequently from the US to Europe. Often, I connect through Frankfurt to points eastward. I travel business or economy plus, if I have to. When traveling to Europe, I try to fly Delta or United or one of the Asian airlines like Cathay Pacific or Singapore Airlines. The business class of those airlines is far superior to Lufthansa. “dont believe them”

We are currently sat in Buenos Aires airport to fly to Frankfurt. Two days Ago paid to reserve two seats in economy, when I checked in assigned different seats, telephoned and I told had not booked them, after insisting I had told that I had been allocated other seats: rang the next day and told the transaction time had expired so Lufthansa took the money in time but not enough time for them to reserve seats. “Easy to make and maintain a booking”

“First experience delighted”

Mco/fra/lhr. Flight attendants greeted us in a very friendly and professional manner we were shown to our seats and asked if we needed anything. The a/c was very clean and tidy and the layout was far better than united you could at least get down the aisle to the toilets. “No refund for a refundable ticket after 10 months”

I have booked a ticket from Calgary and canceled it on Sep 2014. I have not received the refund yet (June 2015). I have followed up more than 10 times and every time promised that refund will be happening, without any result. “First & Last Time traveling with Lufthansa”

“Flying lufthansa.. Never again.... ”

I had really terrible experience with Lufthansa. Very arrogant customer service. Didn't reschedule the booking after they refuse boarding for one of 4 passenger in my family. This is my first and last Lufthansa flight. Will never fly with them again. I highly recommend against using this airline. If anything goes wrong and if its your fault they will not help you. I flew business class from Frankfurt to Miami in September, 2014. Their Airbus 380 had by far the worst business class seats I have ever used. They were only 19 inches wide. If you reclined the seat you could feel a pipe of in the bottom of the seat. Horrible seat. The food was good as was the service.

I booked a flight Amsterdam-San Francisco (23.08)and return Las Vegas-Amsterdam (06.09). “One of the greatest airline company in Europe”

I alweays choose Lufthansa as a flight operator for a long tripm. The service is excellent. The flights are never delayed because of the technical issues. Bordcrew is nice, multilingual speakears, which make it nice and undestandable for everyone. The airplane are always good oranised and accurate. The meals along the flight are absolutely delicious. Flew from USA to Kiev, Ukraine on 8/6/14 on Lufthansa. When I arrived Kiev my suitcase was not there. Went to Lost and Found and filed report. clearly american TSA agents take luggage and take all items, typical americans ( i heard TSA agents even take food stamps which most american live on, no health care on top of that)

I have flown a few times with Lufthansa and have found it to be a professional airline in terms of staff attitude and punctuality. The food leaves a lot to be desired, but that is true for most airlines these days. There was no in-flight entertainment on my (European) flights, although that is not a major issue for a couple of hours or so.
