    Good Points: It's all good
    It has a great camera
    Free web browser
    Great selection of games and ringtones etc
    The colour display is crystal clear
    The sound quality is second to none


    Bad Points: The only bad point is there is no screen on the outside cover


    General comments: This is a great phone all round. I got mine about 4 months ago, and I have still not found a problem.

    The NEC e338 mobile phone has a great camera, free web browser, and as with all 3 phones, a great selection of games and ringtones etc.

    The colour display is crystal clear, and the sound quality is second to none.

    I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It's great!

    I got this NEC e338 phone free, and I'm glad I didn't pay for it! While it is an ok phone, it does lack some style, is definitely on the large size. I found the buttons too close for comfortable texting, and the number of menus you need to go through to send a simple text too many. I feel it has a lot of small annoying features, comes with no games, and I can't find the MP3 player as another reviewer on this site mentioned!

    Things like there does not seem to be an audible alert reminder if ...

    I recently dumped the Motorola C975 for this NEC e338 Mobile Phone and it's excellent!
    The camera... needless to say rotatable is still a perfect display, and the video playback is excellent.

    Some people complain about 3's network... but if you use your phone a lot this is perfect. The downloadable ringtones are fantastic. Games however...(not ALL the games) are poor. I got 2 games with the phone - both rubbish. 3 Have a good selection of games though... this phone keeps me busy all day! ...

    The NEC e338 is amazing!! I got it for only 70 pounds and it's a 3g phone! As well as having the normal things on it, it also has:
    MP3 player
    Video player
    Voice recorder
    Good Graphics
    Very good camera
    Very large screen

    The only thing I was disappointed with was the network 3. It is 15 pound a month to top up and you have to pay it once a month on PAYG which is really ridiculous. (Cant wait to get it unlocked so I can start using 02 again!!)

    But overall It's a great phone and I wont ...

    All in all I have been very impressed with the NEC e338, the main reason I bought it was the price - £45 with £15 credit - bargain. I knew when I bought it that it was designed to be a basic phone so I wasn't upset when it didn't have all of the features of some other phones - bluetooth would have been nice but you cant have everything and the speaker phone function makes up for it.
