Emmerdale,what is going on with Wendy,her acting is awful to start with,and the so called crying scenes are abysmal!! If you are going to act out a tearful scene,then at least cry like it's real ????

I love Emmerdale but I can't stand the Charity/Mack/Chloe plot. I was so happy when Charity met Mack and found love at last. Then it was ruined by having Charity lose his baby and to add insult to injury he had a one night stand with the very young, simpering Chloe which resulted in her pregnancy and birth of Reuben. Mack's attitude after chasing Charity for ages and his joy at finally claiming her is just unbelievable, now saying he wants Chloe - he must be insane.

I’m a fan of Emmerdale and love some of the story lines. I must say, whenever Charity Dingle is given a star part in a storyline, her superb acting is untouchable; she has the ability to be so powerful with both her lines, actions and mannerisms, I almost feel that I’m living the part and I cannot say I sense that very often. I think the build up to this, involving so many of the actors keeping secrets, worrying about what was going on, has been a very inventive storyline, but the way it’s been played out tonight was so clever and unique; charity finding out at the emergency baby unit. Well done to the writers and all the actors concerned. And a magnificent performance by Charity.

Tonights Episode Thursday 8 July was sooo fabulous !!! - it really touched me deeply - the acting was off the scale well done !!!! - it was everything !!!! I’ve already watched it 3 times I love Emmerdale keep it going it’s the best around !!!!

Please make charity realise she loves mckenzie and give them a true love story. They belong together. Water under bridge with past for her mckenzie is her man. They realy work connections acting is great to watch.

Despite all bad reviews on this forum, me and my partner and our friends believe this Meena storyline to be the most daring and bravely dark storyline for years, what we need right now is batxxxx crazy, there are still some 'fun characters' around like Mackenzie and Paddy. TV dramas change and evolve, I watched reruns of Emmerdale from early nineties once and they were beyond tedious. There seems to be a near hate campaign against this character and the actress playing her. Also, in real life, some serial killers never get caught. For those who disapprove there are reruns of little house on the prairie to be found somewhere.

Emerdale was good to watch but now it’s murder mystery etc. But the one thing I hate most is what’s it doing with faith. I hope, it’s not bone cancer. As like myself who has had double mastectomy through cancer do NOT want to look forward to watching their favourite programme and been showed what you can have next, showing symptoms etc. We women live with the knowledge that this could happen,and so I think it’s terrible for the writers to implement this on the one program we love to watch to take our minds off what’s happening in the world today with Covid. So now I myself and my friends who have gone through the same will not be watching Emerdale again, it seems like the writers thrive on death rather than life itself.

I am appalled that the content of Emmerdale in the courts of a murder trial has had such very little research or guidence.
The part I am struggling with is the start of the trial.
I have been an ardent clay shooter since I was a child and am now just retired at 65.
A very good friend of mine is a firearms officer who assures me that the part where one of the lawyers asks a witness in the box who has access to firearms on Home Farm Eastate. His (the witness) following statement gives the general public the idea that anyone working or even visiting such a business premises has access to guns and ammunition. This is definately not so
This is disgraceful and should be ammended.
An actual case of where a shotgun cerificate holder lost his right to possess guns and had them immediately confiscated was because the firearms officer called unannounced to ask if it was possible to inspect the contents of the guns security cabinet.
The licence holder's mother said that he was out but she could show him the guns as she knew where her son kept the keys.
in law, NO unlicenced person is allowed to know where keys are kept for the
security cabinet nor do they have the right to be able to gain access to the contents. I feel that an announcement should be made to set the publics mind at rest that all gun owners in the UK are very security concious and that the content of Emmerdale is completely ficticious.

I am afraid Emmerdale is going to lose popularity if the writers dont do better than recent episodes.

This is not the Old Emmerdale - why dont you keep it as a POPULAR COUNTRY VILLAGE

A very real life story line & brilliant acting.
The coverage on cot death was excellent. Very sad. Very true to life story lines which really appeal to the general public.
