after so many years of watchin emerdale I am now watchin the one show on bbc1 and you wonder why the ratings are going down down.... I think you are now on self distruct get rid if the script writers and TRY to bring it back into something worth watching and stop taking the viewers for a load of idiots

When Emmerdale is good its brilliant. It has the best stories acted out by the best actors in the business. Its humorous too. I love watching Paddy and Marlon together.

Emmerdale has a real chance to break new ground with the blind actress joining, and guess what? She turns out to be an ex con. why can't she be a good person? They do exist you know! As for the Wyldes, please make them go back to London. They are terrible and a real low point for what is the best soap on TV.

I am afraid Emmerdale is going to lose popularity if the writers dont do better than recent episodes.

This is not the Old Emmerdale - why dont you keep it as a POPULAR COUNTRY VILLAGE

I have watched Emmerdale for may years it was excellence. All the script writers need axing as do most of the cast. The Kings were the best until the episode on the 2//9/08.

Genesis so silly - no normal human being could really be so silly and boring.
Anna - oh so boring - have to leave the room when she appears.
Eli - impossible
Lexi - she was the start of the below standard characters.
Jasmin used to be normal - now as silly as the others.
The subjects particularly boring have been connected to the machine shop, then even worse - the van and its contents. More to follow another time.
I'm amazed you have managed to keep the actors.

A very real life story line & brilliant acting.
The coverage on cot death was excellent. Very sad. Very true to life story lines which really appeal to the general public.

Wow has Emmerdale been good of late. Cain Dingle kidnapping Mr King senior at gun-point, and, we thought, Sadie! Makes you feel happy for this bad lad that he got away, although he is a criminal! I will miss Cain now he's out of the series and am glad they have left his part open, in case he makes a comeback! He plays the part so well! Now who will be the villian of Emmerdale?! Sam?!
