I booked a double room at the holiday inn Doncaster on 9th June 2016. On arrival there were no double rooms. I rang late rooms who told me to write this and it would be investigated. I have a screenshot of booking confirmation for a double room and a letter from hotel telling me there were none available and this is an error through the reservation system. I'm not sure what doing this will solve but will follow it up.

I am 18 and don't book many hotel rooms. I booked a night at the Hilton Garden Inn, Bristol through LateRooms.com and ended up paying £175 when I was quoted £93 (expressed in dollars) in the confirmation email. It turned out that on the Laterooms.com web page I had clicked on the Hilton Garden Hotel, Bristol in the UNITED STATES not the UK. I accept it was my mistake but it's easily done.

Really sorry to hear this happened to you, its an unfortunate and costly mistake.
LateRooms is a UK based company, if you see a price in a currency other than GBP, then this means the hotel is not in UK.
Please get in touch with us, we may be able to negotiate with the hotel, though Hilton are notoriously strict. But we would still ask on your behalf.

Stayed for two nights in annex. Room large and with private patio, took dogs. Generally very happy but state of shower was appalling. Glass clean but tiles with red stuff growing in grout and bottom of glass and runners NEVER cleaned since installation. Of hotel wants to contact me that would be great (I live in Southport and you can have photos of the shower to discuss with your staff). Approached reception staff, female on duty was defensive and dismissive instead of customer focused. Would I stay there again, probably not due to attitude toward complaint. Also hydro pool staff did not appear to be customer focused but rather you are there to use his pool and potentially put out our disturb him. Booked as there was a pool on site but over two days did not bother using it after walking in with reception we were met with. Breakfast ok,bed comfortable, large and clean.

I have used Laterooms a lot in the past with no problems. However since they have changed the format of the booking page which contains payment details I have had problem on two separate occasions. After completing the payment section with your card details etc the page disappears and returns to the blank payment page. I raised this issue with Customer support but failed to get an explanation about this fault. Has anyone had the same problem ?

Lovely hotel however room very, small and noisy avoid room 301top floor opposite lift people thumping up the stairs floorboards very squeaky no view from window unless you like looking at red roof tiles 2foot infront good breakfast car park very tricky and mostly always fullhowever lovely hotel would stay again but in a different room

Good - friendly receptionists, great views, great location, comfortable bed, large room, lovely old Wilteshire brick work. Bad - breakfast choice v limited with no fresh fruit and items constantly running out. The ugly - desperately needs refurbishment just about everywhere. Curiously, I would recommend- there's just enoug good here to make a visit worthwhile.

Your pricing is misleading...directly above the cost when booking my two night stay it states 2 consecutive nights from £25 per night. Although grammatically correct it does mislead you into thinking that you are offering that rate. Very disappointed!

I have used Laterooms for this hotel before without any problem and saved some money. But on this occasion was disappointed to have a phone call from the hotel saying that because of double booking there were no longer any double rooms available in this hotel and was offered a room in their sister hotel. To which I still waiting confirmation. So I was slightly put out!!! so on this occasion not completely satisfied!!!

Saying double room, it was more like single room,wash room was shared,couldn't even close the toilet door due to stiff door,dark paint quite depressing,no freshness in the atmosphere,lot of dust in the air.

As users of Laterooms we have up until recently been more than satisfied with the company, but lately we get no comfirmation Email about our bookings, this means we have to either ring or Email our hotel to check we have a firm booking. It isn't good enough, you need to know your booking is secure

I was unable to change my CC on your website and then ended up ringing your call centre as I could not get the web site to respond at all. Your customer advisor was friendly and helpful as much as he could be. My booking was completed over the phone, but he had to ring the hotel to find out about Pets even though it is listed as a Pet Friendly hotel. I was holding so long I ended up ringing off and he rang me back. I object to holding when I am paying for the call.

We have just spent 4 nights at The Grand Hotel Llandudno, unfortunately all the superior double and twin rooms were booked up so we had to accept a standard double room. The room was so small we were in each others way as we tried to move around I lost count of the time we banged our knees as we passed between the bed and the table/chest of drawers. The room was in need of plenty of repair work, the door frame was damaged, there were several places where the wall paper was ripped and there was a hole in the bath room wall which had been blocked with toilet paper ( I assume some one had thought that maybe it was possible to peep through from outside ). The room itself ( 129a ) was NOT 3 star standard The hotel ( and room ) was very clean and we were well looked after by the cleaning staff and the lobby porter, also the rest of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food in the restaurant was good and being buffet meals, plenty of it. Please Britania Hotels spend some money and bring this hotel into the 21st century. One last comment about Llandudno hardly any of the hotels have car parking facilities and its all " street parking" with pay and display meters which usually means disabled people can't find anywhere to park close to there hotels.

The hotel was good value for money and in a great location. However we checked in after a long days travel after midnight on our first night and the gentleman that checked me in was extremely rude. I have worked in hotels for 15 years and would never allow my staff to handle a guest like that. On check in he took our money and throw a card in front of us, I had to ask our room number, floor level..he did not explain anything about the hotel or its lay out. It was very poor customer service. After traveling throughout Japan we had never come across any reception staff as blunt or rude like this. During the rest of our staff I have to say other memebers of staff we helpful, but first impressions stick!

Have stayed before and normally can't complain however the last time we stayed the room was like a hostel! The wallpaper was peeling, the bed was so uncomfortable that when you sat down you could feel the springs. The bathroom was a total different matter, it was horrendous! There were dead flies on the floor, wallpaper peeling, pen had been drew on the wall, the toilet was falling apart and was difficult to flush, there was no bath but a shower that flooded that had black all around it, on the sink there were yellow patches all over, it was just a total mess! The room was £45 which is cheap, but the state of this room was awful and not worth £45 at all, very disappointed as we have only had good experiences there, apart from this time. The only up to this was the breakfast, as always the breakfast was delious!

When we tried to check in to the hotel, they had NOT received my booking from Late Rooms.................. Luckily the room we had booked was still available, the staff were very good with us. using Laterooms.com seemed very user friendly, but when you check in and the hotel haven't received your booking from Late Rooms, this makes you wary about using them in the future. I would use Late rooms again but I may check with the hotel directly to see if they have received my booking.

Very basic but very comfortable and quiet. Very central to shops, bars, train/bus station etc. lots of places to eat! Not much of a view from our room. Just pigeons on the roof. Room was very hot..... No air conditioning! We paid £76 for one nite which I thought was quiet expensive but this always seems to happen when their is a big concert in the odyssey arena! Was ok for one nite only.

Have booked with late rooms before and would use again. Only problems were we wanted a guaranteed twin room and this wasn't guaranteed. Also chat line assistant did not understand our question about booking breakfast on arrival and still getting the £5.50 discount price (we only wanted one of the three mornings and this did not seem to be possible), so we just wrote thanks and gave up.

If we are talking about the same booking I can see you did book a double and if the hotel were not able to honour this, it would be a fault in their system rather than LateRooms.
