    Late Rooms - Windermere briery wood is in a idylic location,our room was large,comfortable and nicely furnished, the bathroom was huge with a double shower and jacuzi bath, fresh towels everyday.The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We booked through late rooms with a package inclusive of breakfast and dinner, which we would recommend, it is a four course dinner which was exceptional.There is plenty of choice for breakfast which includes unlimited tea,coffee and toast.
    We would recommend this hotel for a base to travel from as it is quite isolated but if you don't mind driving then well recommended. Ambleside is only 30 minute walk, windemere is quite a bit further although the buses are good.

    Absolutely no problems with late rooms. Web interface not fantastic but good enough. Great selection of hotels, that's the main thing, and some great bargains available. My particular choice was good (lucky me) - the hotel (which was in the UK) was great, the booking was all recorded, the room was fine, the rate was fine. LateRooms gets my vote if you want a cheap room, quickly, that you can rely on.

    Arrived at hotel to find no room for us in my opinion. Tried calling Laterooms and always told someone would call us back. Had booked 3 night stay over Bank Holiday (had traveled to attend friends wedding) and had to find our own alternative at an extra cost of £210. No help at all from Laterooms, finally (7 days later) spoke to Manager who I personally found unhelpful when I told her I did not feel it fair I had lost so much money and they nor the hotel would offer any kind of recompense ...

    When we arrived at the destination, our city-centrum-appartment-booking did not exist as far as I am aware. Trying to get help from LateRooms custom service, we find out, that we where on our own. They were unhelpful in my opinion and I personally was not happy with the service.
    A local agency did after two hours surging find at place for us to stay.

    Absolute disaster in my experience. When we arrived in Prague we was told that reservation was lost. No real alternative available for first 2 nights; result was that we had to stay 10 km outside city centrum for 2 out of 3 nights and last night we was moved to an appartment in the city. The local agency was very friendly and tried really hard to help. But, the back-up from Laterooms was an absolute disaster and a disgrace to customer service; Lateroom showed no sincere interest in making up for ...

    I've used laterooms.com about three times now to book hotels in the UK and I've never had any problems. The only minor niggle I used to have with Laterooms was that they didn't feature user reviews but now they have their own reviews, although I do check other review websites as well, just to be on the safe side.

    No guarantee if the hotel you have booked actually exists in reality. When I confronted Laterooms, I was told that they do not take any responsibility if something like this happens and that I should have read the terms and conditions when I made the booking!

    Managed to find a good price for a hotel in France using this site but when I tried to book, I was unable to complete the transaction. Went back several times and each time the site was down for maintenance. Eventually had to call at my expense, but the operator I spoke with could not locate the hotel and said he would call back. In all I phoned 3 times and I still haven't managed to actually make the booking! These guys really need to get their act together if they want to compete with the many ...

    I had a look for a room in Prague as a late deal and found a really good price on www.laterooms.com. I would say that the site is a little confusing if your not used to the internet, its quite a busy site with lots of options that don't seem to be in any order. When you ask to book the room, it gives you the option to do it over the phone or on the internet.

    Late Rooms www.laterooms.com - Fantastic to find rooms over next couple of weeks. Amazing savings on some hotels.
