I had delayed looking for a place as I had hoped to stay with friends but when this proved impossible I really was looking at the very last minute and not entirely sure of what I wanted although i had some idea of area. The site offered me many options. I was able to look at leisure at the different hotels and make an informed decision. Hopefully we made the right decision, wont know until after our visit! I had to open a second window with another company to see exactly how far from my destination the hotels were but that isn't really a problem. the ability to select and compare several hotels would be helpful. Recently stayed at the Waterloo hotel and whilst good value for money hotel looking little tired. Curtains were coming away from curtain rail - no complimentary mineral water as advertised - carpets stained - breakfast sparse compared to previous visits. We arrived at the hotel to book in at around 6pm after sending a lovely day at the NEC visiting the Good Food Show. I asked the receptionist if it would be possible to book a table in the restaurant, she said she thought they were fully booked but would ring through and check which she did, she told us they could accomadate us 9.45pm, we decided that would be to late she then said that they served food in the bar so we decided to try that. I booked in advance and paid £55 for two B&B. The room and en suite were small but everything was there clean and well presented and working. No problems at all with noise and the breakfast was nice, plentiful and in pleasant surroundings. Would go again at this price. The only slight downside was the rather reluctant late night request for an additional quilt as the ones provided were very thin. Once overcome the quilts arrived speedily and all slept soundly. Process was easy when booking. However, the hotel wanted to charge the normal rate and had no idea what we had been advised of a different price for stay by Late rooms. There was no problem with the production of the receipt. We had specifically requested a double room but hotel said that they had not been advised of this-they could have provided one. The doubles had been allocated /moved into by the time we arrived on our first night-They did offer a double room for our second night. (read more)

Excellent service highly recommend them to any traveller. Just a little note when you book your stay don't get confused with payment. The staff were wonderful. Really amazing. The breakfast average. But the room was so hot with no working air conditioning, it was broken, that I was given a fan. I had an important job interview the next morning. Woke up tired, red and swollen eyes from the fan and didn't get the job. Not happy so going to complain to the hotel. (read more)

I booked a hotel early May to stay at the end of June and booking process was fine. Two days before we travelled the owners of the hotel wanted us to move from the specific room that we had booked.Obviously we were not happy and cancelled the accommodation. I recently stayed in the Knightsbridge Green Hotel in London for less than £80! The room I stayed in was a double, which usually costs guests over £850, this was all down to laterooms.com. The hotel itself was not worth the normal price however, as I felt it was dated with plenty of room for improvement. However, for the price I paid I am more than satisfied with my stay.
