I remember first reading Autocar magazine when I was a kid when I visited my grandparents as I have always been fascinated by cars right from am early age. After buying the odd other motoring magazine, I ended up subscibing to Autocar and have been receiving my weekly copy for over three years now. I think Autocar has the right mix of technical and journalistic content and is an easy read. It is bang up to date with new model articles and I especially like the article at the back which is a little nostalgic and reviews cars from the past and gives reasons why you would and wouldn't want to own one now! I also like the fact that F1 is featured in the magazine as I like watching GP when it is on so reading a little about it too is good for me.

I would like the magazine to improve on motorsport reporting, new car price guide and more news.- Read Guest's review (48 words)

Autocar has always been a trade magazine written also for professional man about town for 100 years. On the coffee table of all car showrooms as it has very little slating of bad cars. After 30 years of reading it occasionally it is not very interesting for me today. The motor industry has always owned the magazine so the writing is not very objective.- Read jonathan kelly's review (68 words)

Autocar is a weekly motoring mag aimed at the enthusiast. Lots of coverage of BMWs, Jags, Porsches etc but don't let that put you off because you'll also find superminis, MPVs, supercars etc thrown into the mix. There's a pretty in-depth news section, too, along with long-term test reports on cars ranging from a Suzuki Swift right up to an Aston Martin. Plus the usual weekly columns you come to expect. Occasionally comes with a supplement.- Read rarinrob's review (92 words)
