“Waste of time and money”

I arranged collection and delivery service with UPS. Collection all ok. Shipping tracked well across Europe. Today I noted that on the tracking facility it states 'refused by receiver returning to sender' Immediately spoke to recipient who states no one has attempted to deliver anything. UPS are very difficult to contact, however I eventually spoke to a member of staff on the phone. “CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

First time experience of dealing with UPS (not through choice) for air freight. Hugely unimpressed with Customer Service team when trying to establish custom duties due, the person dealing with our consignment was unavailable and the answer phone message stated that "You cannot leave a message" and cuts you off. “My kids are disappointed”

I ordered two packages with 2 day shipping. I tracked the packages online and delivery was supposed to be today, but we have received nothing. It's after 7 pm and I'm assuming nothing is coming today. I'm so upset because my kids were expecting a surprise. I have had a terrible experience with the UPS site and customer service. Usually I don't give negative feedback but this was terrible. I had a package sent to my house, apparently it had to be signed for but they would only deliver between 2-5, when no normal working person is home. I signed the slip for them to leave it on my door the next day, but they would not leave it with the signed slip. “Excellent service”

Had to send a large wedding present urgently from Wiltshire to London as we could not attend. Despite negative reviews and never having used courier services previously, I booked UPS through Interparcel at 11.30am, parcel was collected at 1pm and delivered the next day at 2.45pm - perfect. Communication with text messages was excellent. “Have been known to be good, but not very often.”

If we make a booking for an overseas delivery through a freight broker, they always turn up on time, and the goods are delivered in a timely fashion. No complaint with that. If, however, one of our customers in the US arranges for a consignment to be picked up from us (in the UK) for delivery in the UK, they go on-line in the US, as they did at 11.50pm UK time on 24th September, and booked a collection from us between 9.00am and 3.00pm on 25th, it doesn't work. “Absolutely rubbish!”

I ordered a large canvas print from a German company (through a UK website) and was pleased to get tracking information. It all seemed really efficient, letting me know that it had left Cologne, gone on to France etc and finally arrived about 8 miles up the road in the local depot. “Worse Courier Company Ever”

This is the failed second scheduled collection and still waiting. First collection arranged for Monday 22/9 11am-3pm - No show. Phoned UPS and was told there was no collection arranged but I have the e-mail and collection reference number as confirmation. Agent re-scheduled for the following day Tuesday 23/9 9am-1pm. “Useless driver tried to deliver to the wrong house”

“Worst service ever!”

Ordered a birthday present who UPS where suppose to delivery a day before it was required. Concierge was on his 10 minute break, instead of waiting UPS decided that it was too long to wait and left. I go to track the package at work and find that they are not going to re-attempt delivery for another 3 days! Absolutely useless. Called customer services who were very unhelpful and rude. “Guaranteed delivery means nothing”

I needed to send a driving license to my son, he was on a fly drive holiday to Vancouver, Canada and forgot his license, oh dear! I trusted UPS, bad mistake! I sent the package on 29 August and they guaranteed delivery by mid-day on 2 Sept. I did ask the person on reception what happened if it didn't arrive, trust me it will he said!! “pack never delivered”

I have been waiting for an urgent pack since 26/08 when ups picked it from the seller. Up to now, there is no trace of the pack. ups say that my address is incorrect which obviously is not true. sometimes they say that there was no one to pick the pack which also is not true. They are just as incompetent as everybody says. Can't talk two times to the same person, have no number at their offices so you always talk to some sort of machine who say they can t do anything for you. I would rate UPS a flat 0-stars if possible. I am due a package weighing approximately 11 lbs., that is not fragile/hazardous/restricted, not restricted in terms of age of recipient, and not terrifically expensive. “Do everything they can to MINIMIZE customer contact”

I never had much of a problem with UPS, now all of a sudden ALL of my packages are being left in front of my door in an open hallway. I live in an apartment building, so obviously this poses a BIG problem with me. My package sits out in the hall for hours while I'm at work, just waiting to get stolen. “Horrible System”

Absolutely horrible. Anything and everything that can go wrong goes wrong with UPS. I am always nervous when the delivery or shipping is handled by UPS and I sometimes even avoid shopping online if it`s going to be delivered by them! I ordered something from over seas, and they did not let me know that there would be customs and fees that I had to pay on top of the shipping and taxes. “no weekend service”

I admit I made a mistake by ordering a delivery UPS ground 1-5 days on a Monday. The shipment was initiated on a Tuesday in Jacksonville, FL. By Saturday morning it had arrived in Duluth, MN.
