I used UPS to deliver my manuscript submission on the day-definite, guaranteed next morning express service. They delivered a full day-24 hours- late from the agreement! My package did not get there on time. No explanation. Lots of excuses tried. Absolute refusal to refund my money. Basically sorry but tough luck that's just the way it happened. “UPS: by far the worst courier company in the UK”

I use couriers all the time and UPS are the worst company - by a long way - that I've ever used. Here's why: 1. Their tracking system is pointless. Vague information and no tracking details even after the driver has collected the parcel. During this 'no man's land' time frame parcels can easily 'go missing'. “Never anything but a nightmare”

Dealing with UPS has never but anything other than a nightmare in rural Nova Scotia. They routinely deliver to the wrong address without permission, ignore the instructions, don´t believe my address is real, and break things. Exorbitant brokerage fees on cross-border packages mean they hold packages hostage without a reasonable option other than paying their absurd fees. I would never opt to send by UPS. “Bad service”

I work for a multi million dollar company and use UPS and Fed Ex. Haven't had 1 problem with Fed Ex as of yet. Now as foe UPS let's see since Jan. 1st I have had at least 20 to 30 inbound shipments get all the way to Oshkosh Wi. and then either get lost or rerouted to either Las Vegas or Salt Lake UT. and then sit there for days. How in the world you can receive a package in Oshkosh in the morning and then at 11 am the same day it gets lost is poor MANAGEMENT. Who the heck is running that… Read Full Review

“UPS = Undelivered Packages our Speciality”

Sent some excellent scissors from US address to UK address to enable me to travel by air with carry-on bags only. Chose UPS over regular mail. The package never arrived. The website tracker showed the package had been delivered, but no package arrived and no card was left. UPS customer service could not have cared less. “Unable to get my sons medicine AGAIN”

My sons medication is always scheduled to be delivered next day because it is on ice. I missed the first delivery so I called so I could pick it up. They guaranteed me that I didn't need to pick it up as it was on the truck. Four hours later, I called back and again was told it would be here. 48 Hours later I don't have his medicine and it will be no good at this point even if I did receive it. $2,000 worth of medicine ruined, thanks UPS!… Read Full Review

“Poor Service”

I used to have a positive attitude towards UPS, that has changed. Over the last couple of years they'e gotten worse and worse. They damage packages and lose the labels on them so you can't track them any longer, and their routes are planned out horribly. I understand businesses are important, but does the driver have to pass my street no less than four times before finally hitting it? “Still the worst”

When I ordered via UPS a few years back, I told myself to never do it again due to excessive brokerage fees. I just received a parcel that could only be shipped by UPS and thus gave it another try. Looks like things haven't changed. 1) I paid over $3000 to have some antique furniture that has been in my family for years shipped to me from across the globe. “They lost my package, won"t take responsibility”

UPS delivered my package to the wrong address, admittedly, but then refused to take responsibility for their mistake. instead they just said they would investigate, but they made no reimbursement and I was forced to reorder and wait for a reimbursement from home depot (who were excellent at helping me) UPS gets away with not fulfilling the contract that they have to make deliveries on behalf of home depot. “UPS Drivers never showed up but said I was not available”

I was expecting a package today (2/23/17) which was scheduled to delivered b/w 2:15pm-6:15pm. My security cameras never captured the UPS driver showing up but at 12:14pm, he posted a comment on the tracking page saying I was not available to receive the pkg. This was not the 1st time this happened. The drivers did this same thing several times before @ their convenience. “Horrible customer service...and getting worse”

As a shipping customer of UPS, I've always had some complaints which were generally never dealt with. UPS would drop off in the morning and pick up sometime in the afternoon, which actually worked out fairly well for us. Then, the cost cutting--one stop only both drop off & pick up, occurring whenever they got around to it during the day.
