Good Points: None for me.
Bad Points: Delivery so far has been a right struggle.
General comments: I am a teacher in Huntington, WV,, and I recently ordered some school supplies from a company which I have used in the past with no problems at all. Unfortunately, this time they used DHL to deliver my package. Big mistake! According to the DHL tracking system, my package arrived at the DHL facility in Ashland, KY, (15 miles from my house) at 7:28 AM on 5 days ago. Later that day, I checked the status and saw this message: "Address information needed; contact DHL Customer Service." So, I contacted customer service through an online chat and was told that the courier had attempted a delivery, but he could not find my house based on the address. UPS, FED EX, and the US mail never have a problem finding my house. Well, anyway, I gave them detailed directions to my house, and the rep told me it should be here soon. When it had not arrived by Wednesday, I contacted customer service again through an email. I was again told that the courier had attempted a delivery but could not find my house. So, I sent the guy a copy of the chat with the detailed directions. On Friday, I received a reply telling me that the courier had attempted a delivery but could not find my house! Grrr! This time I replied with even more detailed directions and I even downloaded a google map showing exactly how to get to my house. I even told him that I am willing to drive to Ashland myself and pick it up if they would tell me where the facility is located. It is Saturday, I have not heard a thing, and the delivery status still says, "Address information needed; contact DHL Customer Service." Bottom line: Do not use DHL for your deliveries!

The DHL driver couldn't find my address? How about using the internet and a site such as streetmap, theaa etc. After 4 days the driver arrived at the door with a streetmap printout! At this point I refused the item as it was supposed to be next day delivery and it was intended for an event the following day.

I am absolutely fuming with this company! I ordered a picture online from the Art Group who used DHL to send it to me. It arrived totally broken despite being clearly marked GLASS HANDLE WITH CARE. If you ask me they are entirely negligent and incompetent and dont live up to their customer excellence as outlined on their website. This is the last three weeks only here of my experience with DHL.I have had supplier send replacements after first arrived badly crushed: out of three redeliveries none arrived and each just sent back to supplier. Each time I was home. Each time says card left. Each time no card found. Then, when I tried to call I couldn't get through. I think it would be just as fast to go regular mail and a lot cheaper. My tracking information was incorrect. It said it was to be here today (Friday) but when I called customer service said sorry not until next week on Tuesday. So much for 2 day air when you order on Wednesday at 11:00.

DHL have so far told me twice that a parcel has been rebooked for delivery. Both times parcel still has not been delivered has been 8 days late now and still not here would not recommend them for speed or anything important, would avoid like the plague.

DHL delivery man does not make change. Did not have exact change for customs on Friday. He said he would come back on Monday. Did not show. Wife stayed home whole day.

I ordered a packed dealfrom Dixon's. They unfortunately keyed the delivery address as part billing and part delivery address, but it wasn't difficult to work out the correct address. When delivered the packaged (I had ordered a camcorder, tripod and case) the camera was missing.

Customer service is honestly rude. The customer is always wrong and they are always right. After a week of waiting (redelivery to another address) I was told that the parcel is missing. Of course it was my fault as I should call them earlier (every second day seems to be not enough). Basically, you have to chase your parcel that you have paid for. I will try to avoid them as much as possible.

I received a "Attempted Delivery Notice" on a UK internal parcel. I was in but .... whatever. Anway, I arranged on automated phone for re-delivery. I stayed in. Parcel never came. I was supposed to have a package delivered on January 3 by DHL. The package did not arrive. On January 4, 2008, I tracked the package and it said "With Delivery Courier". I made it a point to stay at home and wait for the delivery. It did not come. I wanted to send a ring to my girlfriend in China and I sent it through Purolator in Canada, to my HORROR, I discovered they had subcontracted DHL to send it. I knew at that point I was stuck. I ordered some coffee from Nestle's Nespresso company and 2 days later it arrived, simple as that. The driver was friendly enough (i just arrived home with my car and fish and chips at the time) and as I got out he said "yum they smell nice". All round good courier for me, but not for most other people on here obviously. Other couriers I would recommend are UPS and City-Link. Booked DHL for a collection and next day delivery from MH Direct (cost £6.99)
Collection on set date with friendly and polite driver.
Delivery to buyer all went smoothly, great tracking.
Really happy with their service.

I ordered some Lego from the Lego website and was told that the goods had been dispatched to my Grandson's address on 6th December. Guess what - the parcel still hasn't arrived and because of the Xmas period I have had no response to telephone or e mails to DHL. Is this a record? Nearly a month to deliver a parcel? I feel frustrated as no response to my e mails yet.

It took DHL 24 days to ship the package to me. They held it with out any reason for 7 days at a hub, then once it finaly left the hub it took them 5 delivery attempts because they could not find my house. Through the whole process their customer support never understood why I was upset and they never seam to think that there was a problem.

I've had a package delivered to the DHL facility for the past 6 days, I live 18 miles away. They don't deliver unless they have other parcels for that area. We are rural, I'm still waiting. I've asked to be notified via text messaging, but they do that neither. I will never use them again.
