Good Points: Not much, at least they can be cheaper I guess.
Bad Points: - Poor customer service at depot.- Take a while for online tracking to update- Inconvenient delivery times- More likely for customs charges
General comments: No missed delivery card from ParcelforceI had to resort to checking the online tracking to find that the delivery was attempted. I've been home but didn't hear anything at the door. Surely if the delivery was attempted, Ii would have to receive a notice card?I called customer service and was helpfully put through to the london/local depot, but the person that answered the phone there was less than helpful. All he said was "the driver may have ran out of time" again and again, and did not offer any suggestions or solution.

My Wedding dress left New York via USPS international mail express a fortnight ago. 2 days later it was in the UK at Parcelforce international hub 'awaiting customs charging' and has been that way ever since.
When I call up to enquire the staff seem concerned that it is taking so long for my parcel to be processed but don't actually do anything about this. They say they can't find it, so do I presume it is lost?
I get married a week on Saturday, and have told them this, but they do not se ...

Parcelforce try to deliver when most people are working so I ring to arrange the parcel to be left at a local PO, after 45 mins of ringing someone finally answers, when I tell them I would like it leaving at my local PO at extra cost to me, they told me that "They will have a go". Inspiring a lot of confidence, I must say. Parcel never arrived at PO. Another 45 minutes ringing to be told that the parcel is still in a depot 20 miles away and if I want it I will have to pick it up myself. What? Ma ...

Having a crucial piece of business to do in Chile, I sent some urgent documents to Chile via the quickest, most expensive Parcel Force method. Mistake. At the counter I was assured that the parcel would be received between 5-7 days. Two weeks later there is no sign of it. Parcel Force then (The documents cost £57 to send!) told me that they couldn't guarantee delivery and that they cannot help further! They suggested contacting 'their agents' in Chile. Unbelievable. If Parcel Farce cannot ...

Nearly all other delivery companies I have dealt with have their depots open 24/7 except on Sundays (Although Fed Ex onlyclose for 4hrs). My local ParcelForce depot opens at 8am and close at 7pm and they only do half a day on Saturdays and not at all on Sundays. I think these are the times when most people can collect there items it is very poor indeed I think.

Delivery of the items seems ok, but getting them to actually collect them iwa another matter. Their CS is poor, e-mails bounced, telephones were all automated, a real disappointment.

Parcelforce nearly forgot to collect one item and they failed to deliver it. That is, they were not careful at all. When I was chasing after the undelivered item, I thought that they seem to completely lack interest in making sure that the item would reach me. The lack of care in the delivery of items I experienced is not worth a few 10's of pounds saved.

I send 2 LCD screens and 1 LCD TV, one desktop PC with a very sturdy case, only thing that worked when it showed up was 1 of the LCD screens, the rest was damaged, even the sturdy desktop case, which was most iron and steel. The LCD screen was destroyed from the inside for some reason, alot of screws inside the TV were missing. Although not every component in the pc was destroyed, the PSU and the Case were completely destroyed. So all in all I lost around £2400. I have insured the shipmen ...

I had nothing but problems with this company and have heard nothing but horror stories from my relatives. In one instance,I did send a £ 200 insured item to a person, that person did not receive the parcel because Parcelforce delivered it to the wrong address. In another instance, they did not find anyone home and left the parcel in the rubbish bin.
In another instance, they left a computer unattended.
I submitted a claim for loss, and I have never heard from them.
I would avoid Parcelforce ...

In one word parcel forces service: 'POOR' as a customer I always felt stranded with parcelforce, there is nothing to do but hope and pray that your delivery arrives on time, twice their courier services has been assigned to me unfortunately and twice my experience has been abysmal in actual fact their service aspires to abysmal it is that bad. what makes it funny is that the depot is a 5min drive and yet it takes them 5 days to get here (and this is from depot) not to mention their website const ...

Ok, waited in all day as it was put on a delivery van at 06.22. Check the site and its out for delivery on a parcelforce 24 service it should have been here by 5.30pm was told it could still be delivered up to 7pm. Still no delivery at 6pm so spoke to a lady at the delivery depot and was told she would contact the driver. Said she'd phone me back not that she did. No answer by 6.50pm so called the customer services. Explained the situation yet again, the lady there could not wait to get me off t ...

Time and again Parcels destined for our address via ParcelForce fail to be delivered. ParcelFarce more like it.
See the real problem is I failed psychic 101 and unless someone actually knocks the door, I don't know they are there.
I am home 24/7. I work from home and I am agoraphobic - there isn't a chance that I might "pop to the shop and miss the driver".
Parcelforce aren't aware of this and assume that unless the door magically opens on their approach that there is "no access" and thus they ...

Ordered a new computer from Dunedin custom PCs which was collected from them by 'Parcelforce 48' on the 18th of January . Anyway it was to be delivered to me on Tuesday the 22nd, no sign of it at all, tracking shows it has been 'mis-sorted' and is sitting in Nottingham depot (I live in London by the way). The problem I have is not the mis-sorting but the lack of customer service. On Emailing Parcelforce I got an automated response telling me somebody would Email me back within 2-3 days, on ringin ...

I have never had any problems with delivery companies finding my address. But when a bridal company sent me a dress using Parcelforce 48, the drivers somehow managed to miss my house completely. They 'attempted' to deliver it twice, but each time they drove down my road, did a u-turn outside my house and drove off again. Two days after the delivery date, I rang the Parcelforce depot and spoke to a complete someone who told me it had been put in the 'Address unknown' bin and said he would go and ...

I have had 2 parcels go missing now with Parcel Force. 1 from Japan and 1 from within the UK.The Japanese 1 has just disappeared into thin air. No one can tell me what has happened to it. It arrived in the UK but then poooof. Now ParcelFarce tell me that I need to contact the sender to claim compensation. The Uk 1 was delivered to somewhere while I was @ home. I've checked the tracking site and can see that someone with a similar name to mine signed for it. It wasn't me though and not at my home ...

Awful experience with their delivery service, had to queue for 40 mins for collection of one parcel at local post office because their delivery times are when people are at work, second parcel's tracking number gave incorrect information of delivery to somebody else 50 miles from me, third parcel still hasn't arrived ordered in plenty of time for Xmas present for my nephew, first down as undeliverable sent back to company then it was down as tried to deliver at 9.15 am (when normal people are at ...

I ordered a TV from a French website and it didn't actually ever arrive at my home.Instead I had to chase it up at my local Parcelforce depot eventually finding out that the driver who had was on duty the day my parcel had been shipped in, had not delivered the item although it had arrived.
1 month of worry and expenditure waiting on hold for hours ended with a reluctant refund.
