Good Points: Excellent value for money excellent choice very friendly on the phone and professional. Delivery very good.

Bad Points: None.

General comments: I am 53 and physically disabled and totally dependant on home shopping for clothes. With Oxendales I can be fashionable and comfortable with a huge choice and all delivered to my door. What more could I want?

I have ordered a good few times from Oxendales, both online and through their catalogue. I am very happy with the fact that as a larger size woman, I can buy clothes that are fashionable, and that I know will fit when I get them. I find Oxendales have always got my order right. I have also not had to return an item, as I have always been happy with the quality and fit of the items ordered. I don't accept that the customer has to carry the return charges entirely. This makes the clothes really, really expensive. The nature of catalogue shopping means that customers need to order items in various sizes. Oxendale's inability to provide comprehensive and detailed statements doesn't inspire a lot of confidence either. If you place an order for 16 items (easy to do - imagine a top in 2 sizes and 2 colours to make sure, multiplied by 4, and presto), you are looking at well over 400 Euros ...

One thing that gets irritating is that Oxendales sister sites, such as Discount World often have identical items at a cut price, so it's possible to order an item on the main site at £19.99 (for example) then look it up on Discount World and find it's suddenly £5.00 cheaper! It is a good idea to check on all associated sites first before ordering.

At a first glance, Oxendales is a site for women, and this is deceiving. There are plenty of good buys for men to get their mits on. For instance, the electrical appliance section, offers some superb buys.

As well as having fair pricing, I'm partial to this site for its good design, and up to date product range. It is also easy to navigate around. Worth a look for the impulse buyer.
