    Just returned from yet another stay at the Beltsios, the family are fantastic at the end of the day you are in holiday in another country therefore, accept the people for who they are, not what you would like them to be. Facilities are spotless, surroundings fab - weather can be mixed but hey its a lush island ....! If you enjoy football Tony will become your best mate............. roll on May/June 2010! Brian will hopefully ensure that my G & T is ready!

    Have been back from the Beltsios apartments for just over 1.5 weeks & wishing I was still there. After reading some of the bad reviews re these apts I had my reservations but could not have faulted any of the facilities or the staff. We had a fab time. I would definately recommend these apts & will be returning at some point in the future.

    Been to skiathos 8 times and stayed at the beltsios 4/5 times -would return year after year as when we try other destinations around europe we always feel disapointed and wish we were @ the beltsios - we have a 8 year old boy whp played all day long with the greek family and his other friends. The owners are very very friendly and will do anything to help - I can't understand anyone who could find one single thing to complain about-although you do get moaners who will complain about anything!     Wow! What a fantastic holiday me and my boyfriend have just spent at the Beltsios Apartments in Troulos. The owners are very welcoming and friendly, the apartments are very clean and well maintained and the poolside is just really relaxing. Snack-side food is gorgeous (try the tuna salad!) and drinks are well priced. Beach is over the road with plenty of other beaches across nearby coasts- Koukonaries lovely and a nice 30 min walk from apartments (take a picnic though as beach-side bars here qui ...

    The Beltsios Studios and Apartments are a fantastic place to stay and Skiathos is a beautiful island, so much so that we have been to Skiathos and the Beltious 5 time now... Cannot fault either... The staff are fantastic, lovely people who make you very welcome... would recommend it to anyone.
    If you visit Skiathos, do try to travel on the buses even if you only do it once as it is an experience...

    The owners are the nicest people you will ever come across. Me and my partner have just had the best holiday ever. Everything was 10/10. Thank you! Cant wait for next year!!

    I stayed at the Beltsios in Troulos last year and had a fantastic time. It was very clean and absolutely beautiful.
    Very close to the beach and a short taxi ride to Skiathos Town, I would go back tomorrow.

    lets be honest here, all holidays are subjective and no one place is going to suit all the people all the time but personally I think some of the reviews are a bit wide of the mark and hyper critical. the Beltsios is a super little place on a super little island, it doesn't set out to be 5 star but it does set out to be good at what it does which is a mid priced, smaller hotel trying to give all the guests the same honest treatment.     Troulos is a great quiet resort - Nector & Ambrosia taverna is quality food in a great setting. The sunshine taverna cannot be faulted for good value ( and plenty of it) with the host a funny friendly man. The beach is safe to swim - with lovely warm water to swim in.

    l loved the place and will return - but not to the Beltsios - its a real shame because the location is good - the apartments are set out nicely - just the night noise is not what I had expected or wanted

    I have been to Skiathos a number of times and have returned to the Beltsios on three occasions because it is such a well run friendly, clean, relaxing place to be.
    The family are so welcoming and I would recommend for anyone to go. I am not a "larger lout" nor do I enjoy being kept up all night by loud music, this is exactly why I chose to stay at the Beltsios in Troulos as it as quiet resort.

    I went with my two teenage daughters (15 and 18) and after reading some of the bad comments on the Beltsios Apartments. We were quite worried as to how our holiday would turn out. The week we spent at this accommodation was one of the best holidays to date. The Beltsios family were so friendly and generous. The studios were clean, well furnished and of a good standard.     What a shame that such an attractive location, obviously with a lot of money invested in it, should be spoiled so completely by the hostility and rudeness of the owners and their money-grabbing attitude to the guests i.e. only those keen to drink themselves senseless at the poolside bar and spend most of the time rushing off to vomit noisily are really welcome here.

    I read some of the poor reviews after we'd booked our holiday, and it quite spoiled our anticipation of it. All I can say is that having been there, I have no idea what these people are talking about. The apartments are clean, quiet and comfortable. The resort is great for a relaxing holiday, and the Beltsios family are warm, welcoming and lovely people. The bar is lively and fun, but the music is not intrusive or over-loud, so if it's not your cup of tea, then it's not a problem.

    Just returned from a two week holiday in Skiathos with my husband and fifteen year old daughter, and we stayed at the Beltsios Studios.

    What we expected from Troulous was a fairly quiet but charming resort, but what we encountered in our opinion was not a resort, but merely a road that runs through the island with a handful of tavernas and supermarkets scattered along the way, all extremely low key and some distance away from each other.

    The Beltsios Apartments in Skiathos has great reviews on other websites, but I feel very differently.

    To start with, I am a 'cup half full' sort of optimistic person, so what I explain below is after much deliberation.

    I booked with lastminute.com, and I was contacted at 9am the following morning by a rep from Argo holidays. He was excellent! The ticket collection at Gatwick was painless, and the check-in with Monarch was quick. The flight time was 3 hours, and transfer from Skiathos air ...

    Skiathos is a beautiful island, and Troulos is a quiet family resort. The room at the Beltsios Studios and Apartments was clean, but the owners were a bit intimidating and unapproachable, so much so, we avoided the pool bar and went to another hotel.

    It was our first time at the Beltsios Studios and Apartments in Skiathos, and it won't be our last! People book year after year, making it difficult to get in for September.

    There are loads of good eating places; namely Ambrosia and Varellis.

    The bus service is second-to-none. It took only 20 minutes to Skiathos town. The last bus is at 12pm. The beaches are brilliant too!

    I asked for a quiet room with sea view and that's exactly what I got at the Beltsios Studios and Apartments in Skiathos. The studio was freshly decorated with daily maid service, and it had a well equipped kitchenette with electric kettle. The hotel had a sparkling clean pool and immaculate landscaped grounds.     First time in Skiathos and at the Beltsios Studios and Apartments and it wont be the last and we would definately go back to Beltsios.
