I have run these tires for the last 2 years, they generally cost more but I think that they are better than both Dunlop SP300E and Michelin Primacy.
However the technology in this tire is old, 1995, and Pirelli don't even mention them on thier website. My P6000's lasted approximately 20,000 miles and there was 3mm of tread left. I think that this is reasonable given that they have a relatively low treadware index at 180. The tires are rather noisey which is probably due to the rather stiff side walls. Have now switched to Goodyear Excellence as they are a newer design & compound with less negative comments assiciated with them. Not bad but not worth the premium.

I bought the Pirelli P6000s to replace the old Hankooks on the front wheels of my Vauxhall Cavalier when I bought it.
Road noise wasn't significantly different, and neither was the grip in the dry... when it rained however, it was a different story.
I spun my car twice, on 2 seperate occasions, on 2 different roundabouts, in the wet, at relatively low speed, and had a few nervous moments on some not-very-sharp corners. They're also more prone to wheelspin.
I recently rotated the Hankooks onto the front, and the wet problems disappeared, though the back (now armed with the Pirellis) seemed a little jittery at times.
I'm now in the process of replacing them with Dunlop Sport SP01s (got two on the rear yesterday, but unfortunately, means I'm back to a relatively new pair of P6000s on the front again).
