Good Points: Everything!! We arrived and the car park was empty. We used the preferred parking car park which cost an extra £6 but was well worth it when lunchtime came. It is worth pre booking tickets and printing them because you can whizz through the turnstiles. The best thing we did all day was invest £10 in a 'Q Bot'. This device gives you a pre booked time to arrive at the rides and lets you go to the front of most of the queue's. This meant we went on every ride in the park. We went on the viking splash 3 times!! The time of year had a lot to do with it and I'm sure it will be different in August.
Bad Points: Cost of the food is very high and meant we took a packed lunch and ate it in the car. The queues were quite big without the 'Q Bot'.
General comments: Top Tips.1. Buy tickets online and print at home.2. Try and go in the off season, March/April is ideal.3. Take a good pack lunch and leave it in the car, carry snacks and drinks in a small daysack.4. Try and arrive before 0945 and get to the barriers early.5. Go to guest services once inside and get lost stickers for the kids for piece of mind for you. Then go and RENT A Q BOT.6. Park in preferred parking, the £6 is well worth it because of proximity to front gate.7. Wear good walking shoes, things are quite spread out.8. Take waterproofs for the wet rides because you will get soaked.9. Take spare batteries for camera's, ours was never turned off!!!!10. Plan your day to maximize the rides but the Q Bot will do that for you.

Overall we were quite disappointed with Legoland Windsor. We liked the sculptures and some of them were amazing. Other than that though we could have been in any old run down theme park, or at least that was how it felt to us.
We prebooked and paid quite a bit less than if we had paid on the gate and frankly if I had paid full price I would have been really really disappointed.
Staff seemed a little confused and bemused by the queues and the organisation of them. Height restrictions and whether ...

We have great kids that deserve a treat, while this place is a 'Theme park', it can feel more like an endurance test. We find so much of our day is spent queueing, they only actually go on 3 'rides' per visit. 45 minute queues are a bit prohibitive and the 3 minute ride simply doesn't seem worth it. The 4 year old gets bored queueing so gave up and sat out with me to wait for the rest of the family. I wonder how much fun it's going to be by the end of our annual pass - whether they'll be beg ...

In spite of all the bad points I've highlighted, I would recommend this to any family with under 10s. Lego holds a magic for adults and kids alike, the park is beautifully styled, the view at the top of the park is wonderful, the facilities are good and clean and everything is geared towards a wonderful and memorable family day out.
Unlike Chessington, which looks like it could do with a good scrub, Legoland is a clean and magical place.
If your child can bear the queues, the rides are gen ...

Legoland is for kids and is an excellent place.
Last year we went to Legoland for the first time and had a fantastic time. My kids are 5 years and below. We live about 30 minutes drive from the place so we bought an annual family pass which has worked out to be very cheap for us. All together we have been there about 10 times. Personally for me it got boring but the kids loved it each time. Do not forget when you are a kid even a cardboard box is exciting.
Everything is very expensive so ...

I learned that the first day was really really pricey so the second day we avoided it by finding a Waitrose and buying sandwiches crisps and pop and taking them in and sitting on the floor and have a picnic at the end of that day I took my little boy to Woolworths in Windsor and bought him a large box of Lego £9.99 instead of £29.99 what they were charging in legoland itself.
Time to stop moaning and talk about the good points I thought it was really good you have to be quiet active ...

Arrived at Legoland just after half ten, surprised to see that we were only in car park B. Queue to pay was non-existent, but queue to get in was quite large. A pirate wandered around, entertaining people, and did a good job.
Our party was a fair size. 2 grand parents, myself, the Mrs, and three children. Upon entering, we took a wander around and ended up heading over to Jungle Coaster. The queue was about a half hour. First drop was great fun and nice and smooth, but offered nothing after ...

Nice theme park for those with kids from 2 to 11 (ours loved it), but all of the above in bad points are pretty bad so try the park and ride as it has to be quicker (riding bareback on a giant tortoise would be quicker than we had to endure.....). apart from that I loved it

Legoland
Legoland is a boring awful theme park for children. I would not advise going there on a hot afternoon...or any day!!
The food was horrible, you have to que up before you can do anything! The lego scuptures are good though thats worth a look. Luckly theres no queues for that!

We took a 4, 6 and 8 year old to Legoland and they all really enjoyed it. The older 2 went on the more adventurous rides and the 3 year old could go on a similar, smaller version so he never felt left out. Yes, the queues in the afternoon for the bigger rides were a pain (worst one was 45 mins) but if you go straight to the rides you most want to do first when the queues are short then you minimise queuing time. We took a picnic so can't comment on the food. Overall we all (adults and children) ...

Take your own food and drinks to Legoland, and don't touch the shops! On a quiet day the park is great for under tens. On a sunny day when it is a busy day like yesterday, it's a 40 minute wait for a 3 minute ride. The retailing side of the park borders on sharp practice. We bought a Lego game for £20 which did not work. We have now waited in 3 queues. Staff have all said they are unable to give refunds without management approval. We are still waiting and in the meantime we have bought th ...

I went to Legoland last year with a large group of children and young adults with special needs. The staff were incredibly helpful. As we got off the buses our hands were stamped, allowing us to skip the queues (very necessary for the groups we were taking).
There was a good range of rides, enjoyed by those aged 6 to about 40! Most of us were too scared to go on the big rides, but the ones involving getting wet were a favourite!
The one problem was the toilets. They were not particularly c ...

We had two very different experiences of the Legoland theme park. We went when Legoland first opened and we were very disappointed. For a Theme park that promotes itself as a family attraction, there was actually very little suitable for very small children. However, we went last year and had a great time. There were more rides, and of course our children are much older now, but what really made it special was the Star Wars theme to promote the latest film. The park was full of actors dressed ...

Legoland is a great day out for all the family. The Lego City is amazing. All the rides will keep kids entertained. We didn't get to go on some of the new rides, but they looked amazing, so we will definitely be going back another time to ride the newer ones we missed out on.

Legoland is fairly small and feels very crowded when it gets busy. We went on a Sunday and it was packed. On average I would say it takes about 40 minutes to queue for a ride. The thing is that the rides only last about 1-1/2 minutes.
Also beware of the sweet shop. It is mega expensive I bought my 2 girls a small handful of pick n mix (which is all they sell in the shop)for on the way home and I nearly passed out when the guy at the counter told me the price.£6.50 an amazing rip off.

I took my daughter to Legoland on her 8th Birthday today. £46 for the 2 of us...which is outrageous. I know you can get discounts online , but I was too late to get them for her birthday and this basic gate price is appalling.
Every shop has many more boys lego than girls...who`s only option is clikits. The food is extremely expensive for what it is.
I get annoyed when I`ve already paid a fortune to get in and then simple things like after ride photos are over priced. My daughter wan ...

Legoland is a place that maybe you need to go to once. The first time we went we thought it was great. The second time it was a little boring. The queues are very long and if the weather is not good, the kids water park area cannot be enjoyed. You do not need 2 days tho!!!
