Good Points: Superb build quality.Sound is very detailed giving a good representation of the recording acoustic. Bass is the best I have heard from a C.D., deep yet very clean. Pipe organ is faithfully reproduced.
Bad Points: Remote control could be more solid. Does not reflect the quality of the C.D. player.
General comments: I have only had the Copland 266 for a couple of months. I use it with Audiolab 800Q and 8000P amplification with Tannoy 12"Monitor Golds in home-built 65litre infinite baffle cabinets, crossovers updated to Tannoy's recommendations. The Copland has been a revelation. I think, without spending outrageous money, this will be as good as it will get.

The Copland 266 CD player is a really good product for a few bucks. Sounding great, better than a lot of much more expensive ones around.
Try this on a hi - end system and you can't believe to your ears !

I have now had the Copland for 2 years with not the slightest problem. If I ever upgraded I would probably have to spend in excess of £5000 to improve on the quality of sound.
