Subaru S Turbo.2000 PLATE.This is by far one of the best of the 100 cars I have owned at 44 years of age. I also have an HDI for the Monday to Friday for the boring ecconimcal runs, because I live in Bristol and the traffic is heavy. At the weekends SCOOBY DOO comes out to play, it is the most practical and versatile car I have have ever owned, yes is a bit of a gas guzzler, but what other cars make you feel that safe on a twisty mountain in Wales or in snow and ice , which would have other vehicles...

Like other contributers I just love my Subaru Forester. It goes like the clappers when required; is steady as a train in ice and snow and crawls patiently in traffic. It is such fun weaving up and down twisting moorland roads and so relaxing to drive. I love the leather seats and the moonroof and the simple old-fashioned controls. I love all the little compartments and the washing up bowl in the spare wheel. I too have never had another car that I so much looked forward to driving. Yes, it is expensive...

I absolutely love every moment of driving this car. It actually looks good in 17" alloys. The power and acceleration is incredible. The stability is so good it makes speeds seem 30km/hr slower than actual....

The Subaru Forester S Turbo is an absolute hoot to drive when you want to go quickly but so smooth and a pleasure to drive when the traffic slows your pace. The odd Subaru rattle but that's only to be expected, it's a Subaru.I love the moonroof, part of the Lux pack fitted to the vehicle.I also have the All Weather Pack, heated seats for those cold winters mornings. The only complaint I have is it's too quiet and doesn't sound like my STi8.I'm not a boy racer but you can't beat that boxer beat, can...
