Good Points: Handy size, easy to use.
Bad Points: Subject to software faults.
General comments: Buyers beware I have had three in 18 months all with the same fault.First they start to freeze and then they start to switch themselves on and off ! Eventually you get complete malfunction and that is the end of your phone! No support from Ericsson unless you are willing to pay extortionate charges!Don't touch one with a bargepole!!!!

Works great. Nice little stylish phone, with many features. There is only one thing I don't like: although it can receive, it can't send nokia picture messages.

Phone has good battery life, clarity, and selection of games. Good quality LCD.
However I've noticed that it chips easily: the microphone is also inside the flip which created major problems when this fell off. Avoid flip phones with the mic inside!
It doesn't have predictive text either, which makes SMS sending slow (the buttons on the phone are quite small).

The Ericsson t29 ia a good mobile phone. Of course, it's not the best. For this money it's a normal phone. i don't like the ringtones and the screen size but i like the menu.

This Ericsson T29 mobile phone was a follow on of my T28! another amazingly sexy phone!! Despite its poor battery life - this may have been down to the continuous Vibrate feature being used in my pants!! Joking! Definitely one to recommend!!

The T29 is is my third Ericsson mobile phone. My other two are the T10 and the T20, which I sold and then bought the T29. It is an excellent little phone for its size and price. In my country, the Nokia 3330, with more or less the same major features costs atleast 15% more. Also, you cannot carry a Nokia 3330 in your front shirt pocket without having it bulge out obscenely. It's display is compact, but shows everything with amazing clarity. The menus are the most easiest to navigate on any phone ...

I have now had three of these Ericsson T29 mobile phones. The switch on the side broke on the first one. The number key pad broke on the second phone twice, and then I got a complete malfunction. So far the third is OK - only the side switch rattles. Even with all this I love the phone. Maybe the first two were duds.

There is little difference between the Ericsson T29 and Nokia 3330 mobile phones as far as features go, but there is a vast difference in the styling. Overall, it's a matter of personal preference, but those who claim that Ericsson's 'flip' platform is outdated are probably right.
The T29's status screen, which shows exactly the remaining standby and talk time, is helpful. However, it provides little consolation for what I would consider to be disappointing overall battery life. Moderate to h ...

I love the look and feel of this T29 phone from Ericsson. I hate the fact that I can't hear the damn thing ring, except when its on the table. The sound quality on the handset is very good, I have had Ericsson phones before, and dropped them and broken them all, this one seems to have taken a drop and survived ok.
I always feel that WAP suffers badly on mobile phones, by that I mean that the content is so poor that its not worth having, it is about time the providers gave a reduced rate on t ...

The T29 from Ericsson is a small elegant phone thats fits just fine the need for suit phone as i call it - doesn't take to much place in pocket and look smart, if i think about functions - all i need - lack of calendar is not bad - i would use PDA anyway, the worst drawback to me is lack of high speed internet access

Sharing the same os format of the t28, r series phones. The t29 differs a little from the t28 by virtue of its gprs feature. This enables the user to be always connected to the internet and wireless by that...if blue tooth is utilized. Its would-be direct competitor would be the Nokia 8310 model. Overall, its a pretty light phone that goes unobtrusively well in your shirt pocket. I just wish Ericsson would come up with a bigger lcd screen to match Nokia's 4-5 liner ones.

At first sight the Ericsson T29 phone looks nice and this factor alone persuaded me to buy it. However, it's when using it that it's flaws become apparent. The screen is very small and makes using the phone a pain (you press far too many keys to access the menus for example). The keys are not very well visible and their backlighting is useless. They are also very tiny. Something I am beginning to hate is the antenna, which is huge.....Ericsson take note from Nokia please.

THE FLIP-FLOP AND ANTENNA CONCEPT
Ericsson has always kept to their own style. This phone is no exception. Like all other "small phones" they have made, it has an antenna and a flip. Some people seem to hate the antenna and the flip - but that's everybody's personal preference. It is a sober and clean "businessman phone" which does seem a bit fragile - and you probably should't expect it to handle too much misuse before it breaks. The fragile part is, of course, the thin hinged flip. It hasn't ...

Over all i really like this mobile phone. before i had a nokia 3330 but even though the 3330 is a very good phone i still prefer the ericsson t29 because of the flip and it's a lot smaller and lighter for me to carry around do my overall view is that it is a good mobile phone and good value for money.
