    Good Points: Neat

Bad Points: Purchased this phone 2 days ago, and now the screen is totally white and whilst the phone appears to work, I can't see anything!

General comments: Please help with the white screen!

I love my Samsung E700 mobile phone! It's simple to use, very good for texting, the buttons are a perfect size, and the camera picture quality is excellent.

The clamshell design is perfect, and it's very handy just to keep in your pocket and whip out when you need it without worrying about scratches. Like most Samsung's, it's a pretty beasty phone and can go through anything.

The only disappointing side of the E700 is that it has incredibly poor battery life, and you'll find you have to ch ...

I love the Samsung E700 mobile phone. I bought it 2 years ago and it hasn't let me down. The phone takes good pictures, although you are not able to record a video. The phone is easy to use, and I would recommend this phone to anyone.

I honestly love the Samsung E700 mobile phone. I have owned Nokia's all along, and this is my first venture with another make. I fully intend to buy the new model when it is released. Despite the fact that the camera stopped working over a month ago, and the screen is very pale, occasionally going completely white - at which point turning it off and on again seems to provide a temporary fix. I just wish there was something I could tweak to make the screen full of colour again like it used to be ...

I bought the Samsung E700 mobile phone and I change my phones quite a lot. This one bored me after about half an hour. I would have been better with the flash option and loud speaker. I've never had any problems with the screen. Overall it is a good phone if all you want to do it use it to phone people, but feature wise it is a big no no!!

The screen on my Samsung E700 mobile phone goes blank or all mixed up. Sure it looks great, but after less than a year, all the fun is now over.

I used my Samsung E700 for about a year but then it's camera stopped working and now there seems to be a problem with it's LCD screen. It does not show any thing on the screen.

I have had my Samsung E700 for just over a year now and I am also experiencing an upside down, back to front screen and also half of it is missing and totally blank. I also think the car set is a heap of junk... You can't even rest it on your lap whilst you're driving and talking without it detaching!!! So annoynig! so think a good quality speaker phone option would be the way to go. Also never drop your phone because it scratches and dents very easily.I will never choose a phone again based on ...

I have had this phone for 2 years now and now I am getting a new one as it has stopped working. This phone is an excellent phone and works fine up until now.

My phone has stopped working because I have been trying to charge it but whenever I put the charger in it says 'check battery temperature' and stops charging altogether. It now occasionally says 'insert sim card' and sometimes freezes - leaving me as a result to buy a new one.

However this phone has been very good to me the last 2 yea ...

I feel very strongly about how brilliant this phone is! I think the Samsung E700 is a stunning mobile phone, and my friends compliment how stylish it is all the time! I have had it for about 3 months now, and I am very, very pleased with it!

I got the phone in the first place to use whilst at senior school. I will be travelling on a bus in September to get to my new school, and will need to contact my mum if the bus is late, or if I have missed the last one. Therefore I needed a relia ...

There is no doubt that the Samsung E700 mobile phone looks great! It is also very easy to use. That is when it is actually working! For no reason whatsoever, the inside screen is reading upside down and back to front, It goes completely white at times, and occasionally only half of the screen works. On the inner and outer screens, the writing can also appear diagonally. Completely useless!

    Love it!
Replaced my previous Nokia 3330, much prefer the clamshell design of the Samsung, keeps the screen & keys like new! No more setting off in pocket by accident, though the battery has come off once due to the poor design of the latch.
The screen is excellent, easy to read great for texting. Having the calender function as your "wallpaper" is very convenient (unless you prefer crazy frogs or chicks!)

I am pretty happy with the Samsung E700 all round. It feels well made, solid and has good battery life. It has plenty good features and lots of good games with it.

I don't like the menus however. Having owned Nokias and a Sony Ericcson previously, I find this one difficult to navigate and not easy to access commonly used features. For example, after typing a new text message you need to press six buttons before you have it sent.

Some of the options are a bit odd...for example, the ringmode ...

I think the Samsung E700 is the best phone in the world. The camera quality is excellent, the phone book is huge, the games are of amazing quality. I paid £250 for this phone new and I don't regret spending a penny of it.

When I first got this phone I thought it was brilliant, but I soon discovered that the reception was terrible (it once took me ten minutes to send a simple short text!!). Then after three months the camera stopped working and only worked in self shoot mode, to add to the problems the display became very faint. Then a month after that the camera stopped working altogether. The hinge later broke but the phone continued to work (just). Finally a week ago it stopped working and the display went whit ...

Previously I had a Nokia. Then I buy this great phone, it's really cool and great for what I needed. I had always had Nokia's so it was a nice change and easy to use. The only bad point was the poor battery but it is OK for me because I don't use it very much.

This is a great phone (or so I thought at first!), really cool and great for what I needed. I had always had Nokia's so it was a nice change and easy to use. Don't get me wrong, so many of the features are great, but there are niggley features as well.
The problems started after about 14 months when I noticed that every time I use the phone to retrieved an MMS it reset itself (also turning the noise mode on which didn't go down well at work).
Another main thing which from this website I can no ...

The E700 is a clamshell flip-phone from Samsung that integrates a high quality VGA camera and a colour screen. The polyphonic ring tones are exceptionally clear and the display is crisp and bright. The small screen on the front of the phone acts as a monitor that displays the time and also who is calling you when the lid is closed, and also cleverly doubles up as a 'colour' (i.e. 5 shades of brown) self shoot camera viewfinder.

The layout of the keypad is intuitive and the menus are clearly ...

I bought the Samsung SGH E700 phone for my daughter. Soon after I experienced difficulty hearing her end of the conversation when she phoned me. The screen display tends to go very dim and sending TEXTs often requires that she key them at least twice as the text vanishes or the phone cuts out. Phone has been repaired by SAMSUNG but within weeks the same faults reappear.

Daughters friends with the same phone are starting to experience similar faults.

We have given up on the phone and sh ...
