I have owned two pairs of these skates. The second pair is on it's 6th year of hockey/reffing. I am on the ice probably on average 4 days a week and these skates just keep holding up. I would buy another pair in a second if I can find some. Great buy (read more)

After my CCM Vector 3.0's let me down I decided to try their 952, what a welcome surprise. To start they were on for $179.99 Canadian regular $450, and then Sportchek heat moulded them to my feet skipping most of the break in time. They fit great from day one, and only got better. I have played one full season on them (five games and three practices a week) and they have held up great. I don't have a lot of money to spend, and now that I got my 952's I see I don't have to spend a lot to... (read more)

I agree with the above review. I've been using CCM 952 ice skates for the better part of a year, and they are light, comfortable, hold up well, and an all-around good skate.

All in all,CCM 952 Super-Tacks are probably the best skate on the market for the casual player who plays a lot. Great support, and the heat-fitting makes break-in a lot less painful that any other skate I've ever owned.

Tip: If the heel support is bothering you, skip that hole when lacing until you have the boot fitting perfectly. It allows you to break the skate in in two stages. (read more)

These CCM 952 super-tacks are the most comfortable skates on the market and also the best looking. They offer great support and flex. The only bad thing about these skates is the price, at £280 they are not cheap but if you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. (read more)

Sorry to see they are priced so high in the UK, it might be a lack of demand, I don’t know how popular Hockey is there. In Canada they go for $200 CDN that’s about ₤95 and yes the stereotype has merit, Hockey is very popular hear.
