Good Points: Are there any?
Bad Points: I found their service appalling. Phone lines ringing out.
General comments: I found Imperial Travel's service appalling.
Agent hung up on me when I didn't want to go where he suggested.
What kind of company is this?
Will NOT be using them again.

I went on the watchdog site and found the an email address
I emailed the address less than an hour ago to ask about our tickets, although we are not travelling for another 21 days. The reviews on here and on watchdog are cause for concer.
However, I have just had a reply and she has advised that my tickets will be in the post first class today.
That is what I call service

My husband and I have just booked our Egypt holiday through Teletex and we have recieved all docs apart from the tickets. As we are getting close to departure 17 July I called them today to see when they would be recieved. I was advised 2 weeks (just like a prev review) and they advised the details had not arrived from the booking agent as yet but should be next week and they will then send out the tickets. I am a little apprehensive after reading the rest of the reviews but so far I am happy.

The holiday my family and I opted for was a seven night get-away experience at a four star, respectable hotel in Greece. While on the Teletext holiday we found a package holiday which seemed perfect. From booking holiday to receiving tickets, quick response on telephone and e-mails, overall very helpful.
Price-wise very, very good-extremely competitive.
Would recommend to family and friends.

I was worried after reading some reviews, which I decided to look at after having a little difficulty contacting them to pay the balance of our holiday. But everything was fine. Tickets and hotel voucher all arrived well in time. I took their advice not to include transfers, as a taxi would be just as cheap and this was good advice. I would use Imperial Travel again. A lovely bargain holiday in Egypt and I would do it all again.

Great company. Spoke to great girl who I had a good laugh with felt totally at ease with them. Went to Lanzarote where she recommenced on lads holiday had fantastic time. Great price great hotel. Had to ring the admin department for a name change they weren't open over the weekend which to be fair most places aren't! Would definitely recommend and use again...

Hotel great (Sharm holiday resort), brill service and cheap holiday for me and my family all ready booked for next year (2009). I should have booked 2 weeks instead of 1 week. Why imperial travel get negative reviews is beyound me, I have booked with them several times with out any hassle, I would book with them again.

Booked holiday with Imperial before reading reviews on this site, then worried constantly that something was going to go wrong. Needn't have worried as everything was fine, no problems at all, tickets and accommodation vouchers arrived within days, accommodation was as described and had a great holiday, would use Imperial Travel again.

I have booked a holiday to Greece with this company through Teletext hols. First of all I did not receive the correct documents through, transfer &hotel vouchers missing for some of the party, called and requested it be sorted out , received vouchers couple of days later, incorrect transfers. Tried for couple of days to get through on telephone lines as they are constantly ringing out. Requested call backs about 4 times and just received! Book yet another holiday to Egypt with Imperial and as always their's was the best price. We chose a new hotel this year and stayed at a big all inclusive hotel called the Amphroas resort ( I will review that elsewhere).
I always try and leave a review for Imperial after I travel as they always look after us so well.
We must have been on at least 6 or 8 holidays with them by now and not had any problems.

They were very helpful when I booked the holiday & got a free upgrade. I received the receipts for the holiday but not any travel confirmation or tickets, I emailed the hotel directly to ensure we were booked in to a superior room after seeing the reviews on this site & we were. At booking I was told in-flight meals were included in cost. This wasn't on booking confirmation - phoned them and was assured it was included. Meals not in invoice either. I find these guys so easy to use I'm really amazed at the negative feedback they get.
I got a great deal to Cyprus 4*AI for £279 per person stayed at Panas Tourist Village .
Jumped in a taxi which I always do. Imperial are normally spot on with transfers times. Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly the hotel was in a great location.
Don't pay any attention to the negative reviews if you want a good cheap holiday then give these guys a call...

I booked a holiday with imperial travel spoke to a nice young man, I wanted a cheap break to Egypt and was sold a holiday to the calimeria royal moderna, good price good hotel, very pleased with service.

The staff were helpful until they took the deposit for our holiday. Once the money was exchanged we could never contact them by phone and when we did the staff were very rude.
I wrote to the managing director complaining and never heard back. So I then emailed him twice with no luck. I then phoned their office 10 times in one evening only to be told he was always on the phone and would call back. Have just returned from a holiday booked with Imperial Travel to Sharm El Sheik. Absolutely wonderful holiday. From the time we booked it everything ran just like clockwork. I will definitely use imperial travel again.
