Good Points: Really friendly people and if they say they'll ring you back they really do and in quick time. There is also no extra charge for pets in fact if you take a holiday in term time they give you £25 back for taking your dog. The accommodations are very fairly rated, I've always gone for the ones rated 'lovely' and had very good quality cottages.
Bad Points: Have not come across one so far and I've taken three holidays with them. The only thing I would say is ensure you take into account their booking fee which is always extra to the cost renting the cottages and they do tend to push their own insurance a bit, but then again, don't all tour operators?
General comments: A good company with excellent customer relations, obviously it is cheaper to book direct with the owners and you may find they approach you during your stay to inform you of this if you may care to return but unless you book with Welcome Cottages in the first place you wouldn't be in a position to take this up as few advertise independently.
