I don't like this idea of having to log in with all your details, pin number and credit card details etc. Sure their security is ok but couldn't they have a more straightforward method? Have trouble using the phone cos of health probs, so it's not very disability-friendly! I wonder if they have a freepost address? All i want to know is are they getting a certain item in but not willing to go through all this palaver! Too many financial details are flying around the various systems and... (read more)

FOR GODS SAKE, PLEASE DON'T ORDER GOODS FROM THIS CHANNEL OR ITS SISTER CHANNEL BID.TV. THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL ARE MOSTLY POOR IMITATIONS OF BETTER QUALITY BRANDED PRODUCTS. THEY ALSO CHARGE £7.99 P+P PLUS £1.53 FOR THE PHONE CALL, SO YOU CAN BASICALLY ADD ALMOST £10.00 TO ANYTHING YOU ORDER. ALSO, THEIR PHONE OPERATERS CAN, IN SOME CASES, BARELY UNDERSTAND ENGLISH. I agree with above caller, there P&P IS OUTRAGOUS. before you even concider buying anything from this channel or there sister channel, you know it will cost you £9.52. how or why can they justifice the postal costs, i have been going into channel (freeview) 49 the jewerly is lovely (sometimes free P&P) or £2.95 some of the presenters on bid/price drop really annoy me when they say ohhh its only a £ its not a £ .. hence the above £10.00 before you start, and the blound lassie that CLICKS her fingers she really is annoying. gripe over buyers just be aware before you buy.

I ordered a ring from then priced at £89.98 noticed that I could buy the same ring from their site for £37.77. I phoned them back to cancel the item, they said they couldn't cancel it and I would have to return the ring for a refund. My mother decided that she was going to purchase an item being demonstrated, but hung up about a second later, without speaking to anyone or actually ordering a product. It is now 24 hours later - we've had about 30 calls from an Indian call centre - two of which were at 2AM. And if they dare to call one more time, I will be reporting them to the police. My mother never even PLACED an order - they're harassing a pensioner throughout the day and NIGHT trying to get her to purchase an item... (read more)

I think this price drop.tv is a scam. In fact, I've written a rather comprehensive review of the company. Read it all if you want, but skip down to the end for an overall review. :) Firstly, there are some extra costs you have to consider. There's the £7.99 cost on postage and packaging. No matter what you buy, you'll always pay that amount for the p&p. Then, to actually get in touch with them you have to call a premium rate number which costs about £1.53 for the entire call and an extra... (read more)

Unfortunately I have bought from them,a pro warmer health grill,it arrived broken & scratched, with broken pieces of the grill in the plastic bag,I am out of pocket to the tune of £20.98,which is the actual cost, plus p+p,plus cost of two recorded letters sent to them, which they ignored the first letter and has taken them nearly a fortnight to telephone me only to say I have to send the item back recorded delivery, which probably I won't get the money back for that either,I have threatened to take them to the small claims court, but after reading all these reviews,I'm not as confident now,so at the moment I am down nearly £21.00 and left with a damaged health grill, something has to be done about this company,if anyone has any ideas I would be extremely grateful, maybe we should all gang up on them together,I'm considering the papers, but not sure how to go about it,so any ideas.please.

Great review. I'd say your review counts for all the shopping channels. Always makes me laugh how they pretend everything they taste is unbelievably nice. What do you think happens with all the stuff returned under their 14 day guarantee, do you think they repackage and send to different customers as new? If that's the case then technically you'd always be buying second hand recycled stock..

I saw this lovely red towels on the price drop tv website and following the numerous calms their presenters make on their channel about how good and quality their Egyptian cotton towels are, I decided to buy their 14 piece set. PRICE-DROP TV - 2 DINNER SERVICES AT £14.99 EACH + p&p &7.99 ERACH.
First of all I would like to say that this, in common with most shopping channels, obviously makes its profits from the high cost of premium telephone calls and the VERY HIGH postage - its the same for a pair of earrings as it is for a TV - they charge even more if the item is particularly heavy.
Have only ever bought ONCE from these people BUT NEVER AGAIN. I ordered two lots of a very pretty china dinner set and had to...

I have brought many items over the years the majority are v/g value for money, but the jewellery buyer beware. Take no notice of the start price, they say take it to high street and get it valued well you have to be a registered valuer which you are unlikely to find in a shop and if you do they charge an average of £50 an item. The items are good value for money at price-drop.tv. Maybe you could get them cheaper on the internet, but it saves a lot of time looking. This is a tv channel which sells all sorts of stuff-video cameras, clothes, golf clubs etc etc.
I think this channel is simply a waste of time if you have a computer with the internet (and you obviously do if you are reading this). I have come to this confident conclusion because anything they sell on their show can be bought cheaper on the internet. This is not really an opinion, it is fact.
