    Good Points: very friendly staff


    Bad Points: having to pay for sunbeds


    General comments: just back from sol cal dor apartments in majorca, went with hubby and my daughter and partner and bailey who is 5, we enjoyed it so much. we had a one bed apartment over looking pool and the otherside chinese resraurant. we could here music coming from the hollywood bar but it didnt put us of from sleeping it stopped at 12.00. food was ok you chose from menu but half way through second week it was help yourself.beach just down the road down some steps.plenty shops and places to eat but in my view things were dear. we found nice tapas bar as we like to eat spanish food ,well why go abroad and eat english food.must admit couldnt wait to get back for a nice cuppa lol. palma airport is a nightmare.but all in all we had good time. i even had a tatoo which was expensive but its took me 5 years to have one, so at 58 why not !!!!!!!!!!!

    Sol Cala d'or meets sun holiday makers expectation.Its location is just a few minutes walk to the beach, well there are 2 but one takes longer to get there, basically relax at the pool through the day (and what a great pool it is) then go out and enjoy the friendly nature of the resort at night time. I have stayed on two previous occasions in 2004 and in 2006 and we are staying here 21/07/2008 - 02/08/2008. Looking forward to our next visit as it is a great holiday!

    I'd recommend these apartments to anyone. Very friendly and most welcoming. Spotlessly clean. Food very good in hotel and very reasonably priced.

    Booked this holiday last minute at a very good price, so expectations were not very high. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised. The one bed apartment we had was spacious, clean and equipped with everything you might need including air conditioning. The bathroom was small and a bit out of date but adequate. The pool area was spacious and the pool clean and inviting. Beware, the sun loungers had to be paid for on a daily basis and were left chained up in piles until 9.30 am. This was supposed ...

    The Sol Cala D'or Apartments hotel is quite close to the town centre and a couple of the main beaches (which are very small), great family hotel. Did have a slight problem with a young gentleman next door who fell asleep smoking which resulted in his apartment on fire, mainly just smoke damage though but the hotel were great about moving us immediately to another apartment and even offering us a four star upgrade in a sister hotel which we declined since we felt this was such a nice place.
