We have just returned from a week half-board at Hotel Clumbamar. Not impressed by hotel at all. We had requested a quiet room over-looking pool on a high floor. We had a room on 3rd floor right beside road! The reception staff were not very friendly and mostly found it impossible to smile or speak. You were lucky if they looked at you when you handed your key in. The rooms are extremely basic with twin beds, wardrobe & dressing table - no hairdryer or toiletries supplied and no tea/coffee making facilities available (even to hire). Walls are so thin you can hear everything that is going in nearby rooms and impossible to sleep before midnight or after about 7.00am due to noise in hotel (cleaners etc). Room only single glazed and as were overlooking the road we had the joy of hearing the dustbin lorries every morning. The restaurant staff would take you to a table and point to where they wanted you to sit - they never wished us good morning etc and made no attempt to be friendly. The food was virtually the same every day and was never hot - you were lucky if it was lukewarm. Chicken served every day! We ate in the restaurant 3 times and then decided to eat out even though it was paid for. On half board you are charged for a drink with your evening meal - a glass of soft drink will cost you 1.80 euros! Hotel mainly seemed to cater to German visitors rather than English. Overall we felt the hotel spoilt our holiday and we are usually quite easy to please. The resort is lovely, it may be a bit quiet for families with older teenagers but plenty of bars and restaurants available nearby. As we don't tend to lie by the swimming pool every day I do not know the situation regarding sun-beds etc but didn't hear too many complaints from others. In the bar, the staff again were not at all friendly and all drinks are served in plastic cups - evening entertainment was dire.

My husband and I enjoyed our holiday in Clumba Mar. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when I was trying to speak spanish! The resort and beach is really nice and there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. I thought the choice of food was poor and we more or less had the same thing everyday, but we were forewarned about that anyway.
The only thing that spoilt it for us were the English people - they were ruder than the Germans.

This was my second visit this year to the Stil Clumba Mar Hotel and must say it was a fab holiday plenty to do beach not more than 5 mins walk from hotel and shops but I will say I went middle of October and was near end of season and resort was slowly shutting down but still lots to do I recommend the market on a Friday for little gifts. Just returned from the Clumbamar, the location was great, just 5 mins from beach and main high street, food was of very good quality, plentiful and well presented, especially the desserts & cakes!! Plastic cups which everybody has been complaining about were clean apart from about 3 or 4 over the week, but then wouldn't you check them before drinking from them? Beers, wines and soft drinks were all self service at various points so there was no queuing, even when ordering spirits there was no qu ...

Just come back from our 4th visit to the Clumba Mar and it is still one of the best Holidays we have had, the resort is brilliant the local bars are friendly and value for money, forget the all inclusive, get out and visit some of the local bars and cafe's especially Wotsits bar. A definite return is on the cards.

Room - Basic but cleaned every day, about the only good point. No TV.
Food appalling - lukewarm if you were lucky but cold by the time you sat down. Appeared to be mainly deep fried frozen. Snacks at bar over road disgusting chicken or tuna sandwich was in fact just paste sandwiches.
No Kids Club at all. So loads of screaming kids all day around pool. No entertainment staff.Just half hour mini disco in the evening for kids.
Drinks - Plastic glasses not very clean. You are not allowed to have a b ...

Really nice staff, great location for a quiet family holiday and good excursions. Not good for young adults as there isn't much night life. Food was ok but could be better, although the Nachos were great! Very clean and hospitable and the kids clubs were great.

The hotel itself was lovely. The staff looked like they wanted to be there and took pride in both their appearance and their attitude to work. They looked after you when you went to the restaurant at any time of the day. The entertainment leaders were not forcing you to take part in the games or activities and they were up for a laugh. The accommodation was lovely there are no complaints.

To start off the holiday I just have to say the coach trip from the airport was a nightmare. We were led to believe it'd be 90 mins at the most but some 3 hours later we finally got to our hotel at 11pm.
Last orders are called at 11.50pm but they switched off the coffee machine before and didn't serve me. Was this due to me asking for one the night before?
The drains in the bathroom would really smell bad somedays but not every day.
There was a strange dress code in the dinner room at night ...

After reading reviews on various sites (this one included) I decided to do my first 'single parent' holiday with my 9yr old daughter and I wasn't disappointed in the slightest.

The Clumbar Mar is in a great location about 2 minutes walk from the beach and various shops, yet you get very little noise from the hustle and bustle of the main shopping street. There are stalls out every night along the promenade selling leather and jewelry goods etc.
The main shopping street is the next block do ...

We had a brilliant time at the Stil Clumba Mar Hotel, staff are great and go way out of their way to help you. Food was OK, plenty of choice and there's always chips for the fussy kids! The snack bar is good, location is fabulous, right on the beach, we would definitely go back. No worries at all about this hotel.

I have just returned from holiday here, found 2 weeks too long one week would have been fine, everything got a bit repetitive, plenty of choice of food but quite bland, ate out 3-4 times. Great for my kids 7 & 8, but this is a very noisy hotel especially if you want a lie in!.......At 11.30pm they call last orders at the bar but you have to drink your drinks in reception or out side on front of hotel, at 11.45pm all lights go out even on the balconies. Hotel clean. I found the pool over at the s ...

Fantastic holiday, would definately return to the same hotel all inclusive. Reception staff were very helpful and spoke fantastic English (one of them is actually Scottish). Wish we could have stayed another week.

Just one bad thing - - - The 7HOUR delay on the way home - - - bit of a nightmare!

DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THE HOTEL AND RESORT THOUGH!!!!!

What a great holiday! Just come back from 2 weeks away at Clumba Mar with my partner and it was the best 2 weeks I've had in a long time. The hotel and staff were lovely, our room wasn't far away from the lift on the fourth floor, which was great. The first few days it was the start of the season, so there appeared only to be six of us kicking around in the entire hotel, which was awkward at meal times when you have five staff standing around you and two of you eating. I soon missed those first ...

I had a great time when I stayed at the Clumba Mar Hotel in Ca n Picafort. It was really close to the beach, shops and bars, but set back a bit, so it wasn't noisy. The rooms were small, but I wasn't really bothered because it was all that I needed, plus I had a balcony and the room was kept clean. There was a great selection of food every evening. I don't think I had the same thing twice when I was there. I got this holiday as a cheap deal, so it was brilliant value for money, and I would re ...

We have stayed at the Clumba Mar Hotel in Ca'n Picafort on several occasions. The staff made us feel very welcome indeed. In fact, my son kept in touch with a member of staff up to a few years ago. She was lovely. I hope she is still there because myself and my mum are visiting in July. All the staff, including the bar staff, are great. We have very happy memories. My late father loved the hotel, and when we visit we feel that his spirit is there also.
