Just returned from a week fron Tonga Hotel. Rooms are basic and the shower very small. The food was excellent and the entertainment was better than expected. The pool area always clean and the hotel.Overall a great holiday will be returning next year.

We went to the Club Tonga Hotel for a 7 night stay with 4 adults and two children (2 and 8). On arrival early Sunday morning, we were not expected until after 12 noon and no rooms were available. We were, however, allocated two rooms together on the 14th floor reasonably quickly. There are 4 lifts. Three of them are tiny and they are extremely slow to access at meal times.

The rooms were clean and were serviced daily. Don't expect luxury, though! The restaurant was always extremely busy with ...

My family went to Club Tonga Hotel on the 30th June 09, and to be honest some of these reviews were a bit harsh, but i cant see were these people are coming from. All inclusive, the drinks range was massive, you could get 4 at a time (until 11pm) and the longest I queued for was 10 minutes. There were a lot of Brits there having a moan, but I think some Brits just moan for the sake of it sometimes. excellent for kids, chilled out for adults, beautiful wide range of food and a supermarket next do ...

I read alot of poor reviews about this Club Tonga Hotel so i was quite unsure of what to expect. I went away as a family of five, myself my husband and my children aged 9,5 and 20 months.Firstly let me say that the hotel entertainment for the kids was fantastic and really you couldnt have expected anymore. They had a minidisco every night at 8.30pm then bingo(which isnt really my thing) then a show. They also had kids clubs which offered pony riding and all sorts!!

The pools were nice and clean an ...

The acting crew are amazing at there performances and are are very friendly and very funny. The staff are nice to me and my fiance. The lifts are terrible at working. The toilets are smelly but inside are clean. Thank you very much for my pleasant stay and please thank the performers.

At the Club Tonga Hotel the swimming pools was good and the snack bar. Good entertainment for toddlers and 13 years and over but there was none for middle age kids. Nice walks, big hotel, it was alright but nothing special.

My family have just some back from 2 weeks at The Club Hotel Tonga we went from 2 September until 16th September 08 and we had a wonderful time. The whole holiday was excellent food was very good and always plenty to choose from, drinks were brill sometimes a cue at the bar but never waiting no longer than 5 minutes. The swimming pool was very clean and had a different swimming pool to suit all including the children. As for the entertainment it was fantastic the entertaining staff work very ...

The hotel is ideally located within walking distance to the beach. It is a warm and welcoming hotel, though some of the bar staff could be a little more pleasant. Very enjoyable stay. Food above average. If ALL lifts were made available to ALL floors this would reduce congestion. Room fan's only circulate the air in the room, this making it very hot at night and un-easy to sleep well. The fact that the smallest lift is available for people on the lower five floors makes it impossible to use duri ...

Thank you so much everyone at Club Tonga really enjoyed my stay and the entertainment was spectacular. Thanks Again for everything. The only bad point was there was no lights round the pool at night which was a slight worry due to having a 4 year old at the mini disco where the children walked round the pool doing dances.

The rooms are cleaned every day, the food is variable and lots to eat, even the snack bar has plenty to choose from. The place is well looked after and kept clean and tidy. Evening entertainment is good and you can join in if you wish. They have bingo every evening, lots of activities through out the day. Tings going on all the time sports and games.
We went in May 08 has such a good time we booked to go back in Sept 08.

Spent 7 nights dodging people throwing glass bottles, tables, chairs, water bombs among other items being thrown over the balconies and some people spitting and urinating, yes urinating over the balconies. Complained several times even phoned the local police as hotel staff weren't interested and the manager, when confronted by us, denied being the manager. Security man was a waste of space all he did was punch the air and kick the walls.
Many complained but the person responsible got away with ...

Only Jari and his entertainment crew were worth the week there. They were funny and really good at games and entertaining the guests. Food was excellent. Rooms were poor. We had folding beds that were awful! Shower door kept falling off too. Also, you could not upgrade so be prepared to slum it.

Where do I start !! The worst holiday I have ever been on!!! Absolute rubbish, the food was revolting, there was a twenty minute wait for a drink in a plastic cup! The staff at the Club Tonga Hotel where ok but the entertainment was rubbish, there where five people that worked very hard day and night and to be honest did their best but for the price we paid we should have got more. The pool was lovely when you where finally allowed to get in most mornings they where still cleaning it at ten and ...

Just come back from this family hotel and can tell you that it certainly isn't!
Read a load of negative reviews on it but thought it was the Brit moaning thing but totally agree with most of them ! The family room was clean but had no where to put all of our clothes so we lived out of cases for the week. The balcony felt a bit loose when you touched it so we had to keep the doors locked although that was still unsafe as the glass on the bottom was not sealed and moved over an inch when you touc ...

Overall I would recommend this hotel. We are just back with our two boys, 4 and 2 and we had a great time. The children loved the pools especially the beach pool. They also enjoyed the children's activities like t-shirt painting. They especially loved the children's disco at night - we even bought the CD! I would go back to this hotel.
The food was okay, it was fresh and there was plenty of choice. It is not 5 star food as it is a 3 star hotel but we found the food fine. I loved the fresh ...

It's a nice hotel. It has two very large pools. The food was mostly nice, and the beach is lovely. I liked the fact that you could get a drink whenever you wanted.
The entertainment was not very good, and they have the same food nearly everyday. Also I didn't think that you had to pay for tennis and volleyball. Overall the hotel was okay, but I wouldn't go there again.

Great value for money. Would probably go there again but maybe not for about 5 years, as I like to travel to different areas in Europe. Very friendly staff when we checked in. Lobby area spacious and clean. Great selection of food and drinks> It was our first all-inclusive with the kids (ages 7 and 3) and our 7 yr old son thought the buffet was wonderful. We also spent lots of time on the all weather courts, playing footy, basketball and football tennis. Pool area was nice and the entertain ...
