    Good Points: -Reception.
-Good location next to the beach and promenade.
-Supermarket next door has the cheapest water.

    Bad Points: -Everything else

General comments: Can Picafort Hotel - Except for the helpful receptionist who checked me in and got my shower fixed, everything else about this hotel was awful. The room was ok with lots of storage space and a TV but the bathroom was tiny (I could touch both opposite walls at the same time with my arms outstretched), the floor felt gritty underfoot and the dust under the beds suggested the room hadn't been properly cleaned for a while. The balcony door didn't lock, which considering my room was on the 2nd floor overlooking an alley, didn't make me feel very secure.
The reception and cleaning staff were friendly but the restaurant staff were indifferent at best and obnoxious at worst. Being told to sit at a certain table for the week I can understand but having to also share that table when it blatantly wasn't necessary is highly objectionable. Also the restaurant staff exclusively spoke German (which I knew about previously from reviews and was ok with as I speak German) but as the whole restaurant experience was so awful, I tended to have a Coke and get out as quickly as possible. However towards the send of my stay, I realised the hotel staff were talking about me in German (not thinking I would understand) and moaning that all I ever bought was a Coke for 1.40 Euros.
The selection of food was poor and overcooked and many dishes were unidentifiable. The breakfast buffet selection just about provided me with a cheese roll every morning.
