Good Points: Clean, basic apartments. Close to nightlife, beach, shops etc.
Bad Points: Bar prices seem very expensive to me. Lot of steps.
General comments: I stayed in Holiday Park Apartments 2nd-8th Aug 2008. The apartments were clean & basic.. we were 4 adults (2 couples) so the apartment perhaps was a little small but we knew at booking it was one bedroom so we didn't expect anymore. Towels were changed every other day and bed linen once per week. We were only one floor up but any further up expect a lot of steps to get to your apartment. The staff were friendly and polite. We thought the prices at the pool bar were very expensive. Holiday park was close to nightlife, shops & Beach. The Dubliner, Mrs Murphy's kitchen and the rebel were nice to eat in. Fat Sam's restaurant at the other side of the resort also worth a visit.

My family and I went on holiday to this hotel in July and was very disappointed and would never return again!!
Before going on holiday we had been on this site and read all the reviews and was very worried about what we had got ourselves in to...
We had read about the "rules" and the behaviour of all the staff etc, but just thought, we would just get on with it, as long as our apartments were clean and tidy, we wouldn't let it ruin our holiday.....Hmmmm

Can't wait to go back next year, love Santa Ponsa and the Holiday Park Apartments. I have enjoyed my holiday more each year. Don't be put off by those silly bad reviews, you can't beat this place.

Bar staff were friendly but didn't find the management to be.
We witnessed in our opinion absolutely no customer service. When my girlfriend and I arrived we were given in our opinion a disgracefully unkempt room that faced into a lane way and there was a very loud bar below us so we could not even go on to our balcony because of the noise and drunk teenagers whistling up at us from the bar.

When we arrived we were charged way over what I consider the odds for an extra person. We paid this as we had it explained to us it was for the cleaning and for all the extra hassle of giving us extra sheets and towels. When we went to bed the sheets and towels were not there. We went for a friends birthday so there were 7 females which was automatically assumed were here for more than just the sun and sea! They didn't realise that we were all late twenties early thirties professionals, mainly primary school teachers and also one girl was 40yrs and 12 weeks pregnant so we weren't there for a wild time, more of a break and to get some sun.

Very quiet and extremely clean, one bedroomed apartments just steps away from everything. We were 4 couples in our 30 's and we will all return in August because we loved it.

The Holiday Park Apartments were quite nice. One drawback being that you had to hire a kettle, toaster or hairdryer, although we used a saucepan to boil water. Apartments are very basic. Air conditioning remote controls have to be hired at 5 euro's per night so it works out quite expensive if the weather is hot. Holiday Park Apartments in Santa Ponsa are close to all shops bars and eating places. The weather was great, good staff, good clean rooms however when we asked to be move rooms they said no which was disappointing. The steps around pool can be very slippery.

We are a group of four 19 year old girls and absolutely loved this place! We originally booked the Holiday Center Apartments, across the road from the Holiday Park, however when we arrived we were told our room had been destroyed by a group of guys that had been in before us, not the best start to our holiday! The rules on noise are explained when you arrive and are supposed to be strict, yet a group of about 40 people that where there for a wedding made huge amounts of noise till 4am and did not get removed. This could be because they were spending so much money over the bar. Towels are changed only every 4 days. We enjoyed our stay, we would definitely go back. The staff were very warm and friendly both at the bar area and at reception. The apartments were central to everything, nightlife, beach, shops and even the bus for Aquapark, Marinaworld etc. would pick us up right outside the apartments.
Definitely 10 out of 10.

First of all when we got to Holiday Park Apartments one of our rooms wasn't ready. We had to drag our luggage up 76 steps and we were staying on the 1st floor! We didn't get fresh towels and when we asked for some we had to pay for them. Definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The Holiday Park apartments are clean and tidy and the pool area is excellent with plenty of sun beds to go around. Excess Noise after midnight is forbidden, which was great. The Compere is great fun and helps make the holiday. Close to all amenities, plenty of bars and restaurants within 10 mins walk. Also close to the beach, 5 mins walk at most.
Will return again this year, you just cannot beat it for the price!

We were told as we checked in that noise late at night was not tolerated and if we were caught coming in making lots of noise then they would ask us to leave. Be warned, this is not true we were woke up most nights by people shouting as they came in from the bars.
This is a family oriented place, so couples and groups should look for somewhere else.

The apartments were warm and welcoming. The downside was the rental of kettles and toasters, which I feel should be included in the room. The entertainment at night was boring and mostly offensive. The staff at the reception are very helpful, and the swimming pools at the Holiday park Apartments in Santa Ponsa are clean. If you fart the person below you hears it. But overall the holiday apartments are a nice friendly place to stay.

Having worked as a holiday rep. for over 2 years and knowing well over 50 Hotels around Mallorca from behind the scenes, I returned as a tourist and we stayed at Holiday Park of Santa Ponsa and I can assure you that evey one of the 5 people that travelled with us gave this clean friendly apart-hotel a 10 out of 10. I didn't really think much of the Holiday park Apartments in Santa Ponsa. The only helpful member of staff was the Spanish lady at reception. The English girl was unhelpful. The internet access is slow. The drink at the bar is too pricey compared to the holiday shop across the road, where everything is dead cheap. I wouldn't recommend the apartments to anyone!
