Good Points: It was close to all things likes bars pubs and the beach so not far to walk

Bad Points: . food . rooms . pool onsite things to do . staff

General comments: The food wasnt at all good to go for dinner you had to fight for a chair and queue to get in. We never had a table to ourselves it was very off putting the only part of breakfast i liked was the cup of tea evening meal WELL what can i say if you was looking to cut back then you would be ok there wasnt much to pick from if you liked fish you was ok or chicken they never changed the choice i had chips and veg most nights the only time i had great food was when ate out .
Rooms: there were very basic no hair dryer nor kettle nothing a shower that burnt you or froze you nothing in between the plugs in our room didnt work the only one that worked was in the bath room the view was waste land with lots of wild cats nothing else and we backed on to the main road .
POOL: i went in it the first day when i got there it was dirty with things floating in it that was it for me i never went in there again no matter how hot i got .
THINGS TO DO IN THE HOTEL: there wasnt anything to do just to sit by the pool and get a tan no water games nothing very bored in the day .
STAFF: well some of them were ok but most wernt very good with english and when we arrived in the middle of the night we wernt told anything not even where the eating hall was nothing when we asked questions they didnt understand .
CHECKING OUT : we had to be out of our room at 12pm when arrived we was told that we be able to put our stuff in a room and we could keep a key temp to clean up before leaving as we never got picked up untill 1225 sat night when we asked about this room they said were to busy and gave us a room for 30 mins to clean up this room was the worst i ever sore there was no door on the bathroom no curtains and it was on the ground floor plus it was dirty and smelt i felt dirty after washing in this.
MY VIEW IN ALL : i wouldn't advise anyone to go here i aint a snob or fussy but this hotel wasn't what i sore on there internet before we went i was very let down when i got there the pubs and clubs near by were great and weather was good to but i wouldnt go to this hotel again very poor spent most my spending money on food.

The best place in palma nova, good crack best service The best place in spain. I would recommend the Voranova Hotel. Accommdation, food location and resort all 10 out of 10.

staff were friendly. I went in July 2007 and it was a rip off rooms were dirty never hardly cleaned had to ask for clean towels and never got them ..never cleaned floor on room or made beds, very noisy...it says its for families..when it most certainly isn't..loudm music

We spent New Year 2008 here. The hotel was a nightmare. The food was appalling.
Building work had been undertaken but the carpets were not cleaned so cement dust was everywhere in the corridors.
During the whole week, we didn't see any attempts at cleaning them.
There are no kettles in the rooms. You are supposed to be able to hire them - but they didn't have any to hire. So outside meal times the only way to get a drink was go to the bar.
The management did not attempt to control rowdy guest, ...

I blame the travel operator who should have been aware of the ongoing renovation work and this information should have been passed on to anyone booking a holiday.I hope that when the hotel does open properly, the food quality is improved and the organisation in both the restaurant and bar is improved.

When we arrived, the Voranova Hotel itself was lovely, massive heated outdoor pool with kids area and small indoor heated pool with sauna as well. However, we had a ground floor apartment looking out of the back and we were burgled on our third night there along with two other apartments, one of which was two doors down from us and the other one was directly above ours on the first floor. Myself and a group of friends were looking to go to the Vorona Hotel in Palma Nova for a 2 week holiday. However, because we're not as hardcore as others; although we're pretty excellent at partying, we wanted to stay outside of Magaluf to get a good nights sleep, and somewhere nice to stay.
