The staff at the Mimosa Park Hotel were very friendly the pool area was spacious. The rooms were ancient. For the full 7 days that we were there was no variety with food and it was not always labelled. It got quite boring. All in all this hotel should not be classed as a 3 star it was no more than a 2 star the rooms need a complete overhaul. You could hear everything on either side of the rooms the walls were so thin

i went away with my mum, sis and brother to mimosa park. on the second day there the weather was awfull, so we decided to go out to a shopping centre. not sure wot its called now. on the way back it started to brighten up, so we decided to get off the bus and walk around some shops before heading back 2 the hotel. weather was gorgeous by then. went back 2 the hotel and me and my brother decided to go for a swim in the pool. within 10mins ove bein in there we were all told 2 get out and to get inside, we thought this was a bit strange, but thank god we listened, by the time we got back to our room, the heavens had opened. it was awfull. i have neva in my life seen a storm like that b4. our room was on the 1st floor and we had water dripping through our ceiling. so god knows wot other floors were like. once we'd cleared some ove the water up, and put buckets down 4 the rest ove the water, we decided to go down 2 the bar. my 10year old sister went out to the reception to c if the restaurant was open and with that some1 came runin in, a young girl had fallen and hurt herself. i flew out to reception and there was my sister on the floor. she was taken to hospital and her arm was put in a half cast. it ruined the rest ove the holiday 4 her as we couldnt go to the water park that we booked, and she couldnt go in the pool. while all this was happenin the club rep had gone home and the next day was her day off, wen she did finally come in on the saturday, she wrote up her report, and she said that my sister should have been more carefull, as there was wet signs up. but wen we spoke to 3 seperate couples that had helped my sister up and comforted her they all said there was no wet floor signs up, only outside the main door, many more people slipped that nite, where my sister had, but no one was injured. thank god.
but in all fairness the holiday, and the hotel was lovely after that. except 4 my sister. as she couldnt take part in anything.
we would definately go back to mimosa park in the future. just hope they dont have another tornado while we r there.

If you are going to Mallorca out of season and want to go partying, then I would recommend staying in Magaluf, as Palma Nova is dead! It is only a fifteen minute walk to the Magaluf strip, but it does become tedious, and we wasted a lot of money on taxis. Palma Nova itself is nice, but there isn't a lot to do, so we ended up staying in the Mimosa Park hotel a lot of the time playing bingo (which is sad as we're 18).
Head to BCM, as it is probably the best night club. You pay 16 euros on the door, and this entitles you to unlimited drinks, free hat, t-shirt and thong etc.
One final tip... If you go to the Strip in Magaluf and get attacked by all the touts trying to force you into bars, either a) run, or b) buy some popcorn chicken from KFC and bribe them with a piece; they will then leave you alone.
