    The Sol y vera apartments were good value for money. We went in a group of four and got what we payed for. The rooms are simple and basic, with not very many kitchen utensils, no microwave or oven. However, it had a hob which was all that we really needed. The apartments are filled with young people who are drunk pretty much all day so yes it is noisy but to be honest you go to maga to drink so you dont really notice. I would recommend the apartments to anyone they are right on the strip literally 2 mins walk to BCM and to the beach. Not really ideal for families and the no air-con was a burn as we didnt have any escape from the heat. The staff were helpful most of the time and spoke basic English, although our apartment wasnt cleaned all week and it took the staff 3 days to clean up outside our room. Overall, if you just want to have a good time and not pay loads of money then the sol y vera apartments are perfect.

    Had a brill time, Sol y Vera Apartments are close to almost everything, made a lot of friends in Jokers many thanks to the bar staff who looked after me. Goodfellows and Benny Hills also Marias all showed me a good time. Food was excellent value large portions and great service from the waiters and waitresses also very friendly.Have been online to book this hotel again for next year.

    The hotel is alright I suppose, not as good as the Majorca beach we stayed at last year the Sol y Vera pool is tiny especially when it gets filled. When we first got out of the taxi we just laughed at the hotel because it hasn't even got a proper sign. But hey enough of the bad points.. Magaluf was fantastic though, had a great time with 7 mates. There's a few guys that come around the hotel selling BCM tickets from the jokers bar- I'd buy them from them because you get 2 euro off and it makes s ...

    Sol y Vera apartments were ok for the money we paid but had an amazing time overall in Magaluf. Although my friend got her camera stolen so if your taking them out with you do not let it leave your sight. Girls beware of random perverts grabbing you, but apart from this it was amazing holiday, although wouldn't go again as already been there and done it.

    I am coming here twice a year in May and October. For what you pay this hotel is really good value. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-equiped and in a good location for shops and bars, the beach is just 200m away. I will come back next year! We love Magaluf!

    We had a nice week in Magaluf, staying at the Sol y Vera Apartments. They were nice and clean. Really good location for beach, shops, bars, supermarkets, gym and just a 3 minutes walk to the BCM (fantastic nightclub!). For what you pay this hotel it is really really good value. I definitely recommend it!

    Everyone in Magaluf was out for a good time. Never saw one bit of trouble and will definitely be going the same weekend next year. A long weekend was certainly the right amount of time, considering we were on the beer 18 hours a day.

    The Spanish people were not friendly at all. At one point some Chinese people from a shop called Hong Ling II dragged us out of their shop for no apparent reason.
    I couldn't get my head around why the Spanish people moved on to this island to make money because of the tourists, but then they were rude. It really didn't make sense to me.

    We also met some British tourists that were thrown out of a Spanish restaurant as they were not Spanish. They made them sit and wait at the table for over ...

    The Sol y Vera Apartments in Magaluf are simple and basic, which is all that we needed!! It was great value for money!! I would recommend it to any young groups on a lively holiday!! Other reviews have said it was loud and noisy during the night, but we didn't experience any of this, except during the day when England won the football.

    I found the Sol Y Vera Apartments in Majorca to be very nice. It was very basic, but it was clean and had the amenities that we needed. It's not a place for families. People moan that they can't get any sleep, but we managed OK. What you've got to remember is it is a party place.

    Attracts idiots who think it is normal to launch stuff off the balcony all night! We had a lad who tried to climb on to our balcony until I told him off!! Don't go there if you want to sleep there is no chance until the day!
    Rooms were clean and cheap though.

    Sol y Vera Apartments - We stayed on the 2nd floor and it was horrible, stuff getting chucked of the balconies till 9am. A stereo was thrown off and nearly hit me as I looked up. We could never sleep there until it was day time. Would not recommend.
