“MAGALUF”

★★★★☆

written by on 10/08/2011

absolutely brilliant place to stay, so close to the beach, mcdonalds right outside and bcm square only around the corner. for a perfect holiday you can not go wrong with any of the things this hotel has to offer. one thing bad though, its a family hotel which is very confusing when its so close to all the clubs and is so loud in the morning. loudness didn't bother me i loved it :D just dont understand how its a family hotel. GREAT hotel, GREAT holiday !!

“I had not been to Magaluf in 21 years, now I wish I...”

★★★☆☆

written by Shairead on 20/03/2007

I had not been to Magaluf in 21 years, now I wish I had never returned. The Sol Trinidad is an OK hotel, I stayed in the Sol Magaluf last time and it was almost identical. I stayed on a room only basis and it was reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the hotel and indeed the resort was full of middle-aged men and women who were acting like teenagers i.e. mutton dressed as lamb, getting plastered and then throwing up in the street. Most of them were male golfers and almost all of them were hoping to, play away from home. Same goes for the old women who looked like they were wearing their grand-daughters smock dresses and cowboy boots, visions of Cilla Battersby comes to mind. Its was cringe-worthy. It was enough to make you laugh out loud at some of the antics they got up to. You'd think that when these men/women hit their mid 40's to late 50's that they would know better. Such a shame that Magaluf is the karzi it has always been. Nothing but English restaurants serving nothing but fried food, beer 24/7 and ageing female clubbers walking back to their hotels with sand up the backs of their legs and teetering in high heels. Ladies, do not let your husbands out in this resort, need I say more. Thank God its a large island! Visit at your own risk.

“We got the Sol Trinidad Hotel as a last minute deal...”

★★★★★

written by Mark Whitlock on 10/10/2005

We got the Sol Trinidad Hotel as a last minute deal and first impressions very good, The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. the rooms are clean and tidy and maids clean them everyday. the entertainer staff were very good and funny with their activities during the day and shows at night. The restaurant was clean with good food the staff were helpful and friendly. Last of all the bar staff could have been a little bit happier. I think I have covered it all, overall we had a really good holiday and recommend this hotel to anyone, not sure what this resort would be like at the height of the season though.
