    Good Points: Good screen

Bad Points: Menu not very intelligent: too many clicks to do simple stuff, some functions simply don't exist (e.g. turn off the tone when you switch the phone on or off). When you type in new words in the T9 dictionnary, it won't remember them next time you switch on your phone. I've never really managed to surf properly on the internet with it. No cable to put the photos you made on to the PC. And I could go on with the list...

General comments: I have had the Siemens ST55 mobile phone for one year and two weeks, and it's already broken!! (by using it normally), which is just enough to make the warranty unvalid. During calls I can't hear the other person anymore, although they can hear me. When it still worked I also noticed a lot of disadvantages, you can find better for the money!

I have had the Siemens ST55 for about a year now. It's the first mobile phone I have had that isn't a Nokia and I have to say that I hate it. The battery life is terrible and after using Nokias there are certain things that are noticed that aren't the same quality. For one I still haven't found a way to increase the amount of time that the phone rings for, before the caller is diverted to the answer machine. Second, the keys are tiny so you need tiny fingers and no finger nails to work it. It's ...

I am sorry to say that this review is not very favourable towards the Siemans ST55. I have just changed mine for a samsung E700, I found it to have a poor battery life - my main problem with the phone.
The Camera is very good - probably the main redeeming feature on the phone. The quality of the pictures is very respectable.
The size of the phone combined with the large screen is good, although it does mean that the size of the buttons suffers, however, they are angled slightly which makes th ...

Siemens ST55 has a big, high quality screen and this is realy good...integrated VGA camera with 4X zoom is also great...pictures are good looking...only battery could be better because 140 stand-by time isn't so much for phone like this...pads are small and this is not very practical for SMS maniacs...all in all this is great and quality mobile phone and I won't change it...

All rights to this Siemens ST55 mobile phone have been bought by T-mobile who when asked for wap setup information, depending on which operator you get, dont really seem to know what they're doing with this phone yet. Network tones cannot be turned off, although there will be an upgrade coming soon to do this you will need to purchase a pc adapter lead in order to do this upgrade.

Even though this is a beautiful looking phone and was just what i wanted, the hassle to get it set up to send pho ...

This Siemens ST55 mobile phone is excellent if you want a small phone with a great screen and camera facility. The only problems I find is the message alert tone is set, it can not be changed, turned off, or silenced!! The phone will not vibrate on text either. When you text you can not see the amount of characters left without going to a drop down menu, but you can type 10 linked messages together (1600 characters). The battery life isnt as great as it could be but all in all its a great phone ...

I tried lots of mobile phones , I can say this Siemens ST55 is the best camera phone available on market till now , The camera quality is superb , the zoom works perfectly , the LCD is so clear & rich ,the size is so compact & the build is solid. Polyphonic rings are loud , menus are fast enough , T9 is available in all text applications. Memory pool is enough ,Reception is good, it has everything. The only disadvantage is the lack of connectivity , no Irda no Bluetooth , you have to use the cab ...
