Good Points: Very large memory, can watch most films on it, good music management system, upgradable software and additional modules
Bad Points: Quite large (but with remote it can just stay in pocket)
General comments: As a gadget-phile, I would have to say the Archos AV340 was possibly the best gadget I have ever bought. With 40G memory running out of space is hardly a problem. The sound quality is really good, especially with its built in graphic equaliser.
I like the fact that you can add new modules on so, I bought the radio remote, which is exceptionally useful. You can record straight off the radio, but to make sure you do not miss the start of the song the radio records 30secs back, and then just use the simple editing software and you have a high quality song in your memory.
Can also get camera add-onm which makes your archos a 3.3 megapixel camera.
Definately need to buy the carry case otherwise the screen is exposed and will scratch.
