Not got enough space on this for what I want to say but will let you know the basics. The caravan was stinking of fags, wet dogs and was covered in dampness in the bathroom. At night time the place was crawling with woodlice. After complaining to hoseasons when we came home as could not get a reception on holiday they have replied with a statement that is full of lies. I am very angry as they said woodlice are not a health hazard and do not spread diseases??? Also that they come out when the... (read more)

on arriving at the park our first impressions were how small it was but it looked quite nice. We were dissapointed with our caravan as it smelt really bad and was alive with fleas. we reported it to the lady at reception who said she would send somebody from housekeeping the next morning, we waited in all morning and nobody came so we ended up going to liskeard to buy flea spray. The shop and bar close in the day which seems silly for the time of year. The pool was probably the best thing... (read more)

Sea View, Polperro. Soveriegn Bungalow. We arrived on site and were initially impressed by our surroundings and then we got into our bungalow and were immediately hit with a damp smell. There was damp in the master bedroom, paint was peeling, bed linen didn't feel fresh and clean and the bathroom was disgusting! It looked like it hadn't had a decent clean in months as there was dust on the skirting and spiders and cobwebs. The bath leaked and the shower attachment didn't work either. We had... (read more)

Bungalow was clean and inventory was good, everything you need for a self catering holiday. Site was clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and always helpful. Only one problem - if you need anything from site shop between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3p.m. you're out of luck - shop closes every day during these hours - EVEN ON A SATURDAY when you would expect to at least be able to get a pint of milk for a cuppa!!!! Booked a short break 4 nights from Tues 20th October. Unfortunately, one of the friends I was due to meet passed away a week before the break. I contacted Seaview via Hoseasons who allowed an extra night (Mon) for the funeral at no extra cost. Caravan was basic and clean. Comfy bed. All we wanted. Was a great base for walks and visiting my friends in Looe. The pool was lovely and warm, excellent for my spinal problems. Only downside, no WiFi and poor mobile signal. I needed to find a phone... The site is tidy, clean and friendly. Great kocation, you are on the coastal path in five minutes. Updated clubhouse and bar area is an improvement. The gripes seem to be about the chalets which are dated despite having face lifts. The caravans we have stayed in are always clean well equipped and reasonably comfortable.But...we do choose a better class one to make sure of that, and that it has been dog free, We didnt see dogs in the club and would query this as it is stated not allowed. In my... Just returned from a week stay at Seaview, Looe(17th October 2009) in one of the 'bungallows'.
Our first impression was of the multitude of flies that covered the windows in every room. The bungallow was cold and damp and smelt 'musky'. We didn't like to complain but wish we had as things only got worse as the week carried on.
Heating was poor with just one 2 bar heater which never dried out the constant damp. On investigation in the bedrooms mould was apparent on all the exterior walls -...

I have been going to Seaview Holiday Village since I was a little girl and still go there every year even 21 years on. The park is relaxing, clean with amazing views from the accomodation. There is a short distance to beautiful places like Talland Bay and Polperro not forgetting Looe. The entertainment and compere are brilliant and get everyone involved. The camp has everything to offer from laundrette to shop. The accomodation is very nice and clean. I feel like my whole familys experience... (read more)

I thought I had to right after reading the negative comments which almost made us decide to cancel. The Hoseasons, Seaview Holiday Village park is great and the accommodation is comfortable. It was bright and airy and the beds really comfortable. We only put £1 in the electric and it lasted all weekend for cooking, hot water, kettle and tv. The location could not be better as it is between Looe and Polperro (read more)

Appalling! Just come back from Seaview Holiday Village a weeks stay & would never go back. They have upgraded in places, which looks great but most is unfinished! Caravan was clean, but no extras which you get on most parks; asked for a bath mat was told housekeeper would come up - never saw anyone. Seems it hasn't improved on customer service at all; receptionist rude! Entertainer excellent - well done & bar manager too. Dogs in the club; was disgusted with that ruling! (read more)

We stayed in a Poldark caravan at Seaview Holiday Village, Hoseasons.
We have caravanned before and didn't expect The Ritz, BUT:
Water pressure in the morning was non-existent, a shower was impossible as the pressure was so low that the boiler would not kick in.
Some of the windows wouldn't close properly unless you went outside to push the hinge side into place, not good when it rained.

Seaview holiday village is a pleasant holiday park. We stayed in one of the more expensive caravans. Our caravan was clean and tidy. However, a lot of the accommodation is in need of modernisation especially the bungalows.

We have just recently spent a week at Seaview and sadly won't be going back, I'm afraid. The privately rented chalet smelt dreadful and there were cobwebs everywhere. No amount of opening windows would get rid of the smell and we went through a whole can of airspray. OK, so we booked our Seaview Holiday Village chalet through a private booking, but the standard of the place has sadly, given the name 'Hoseason's' a bad reputation in my book!
On arrival at the chalet, we found the decor like something out of the 70's and definitely in my mind in desperate need of updating. The carpet was tiled and in places had lifted from the floor! We stayed in a 2 bed consort bungalow (number 6) and there was damp on the walls (both my finance and I have asthma). It felt like stepping back into the 1970s. The bed we had was stained and I daren't even look under it! I certainly wouldn't stay there again. I disagree with this review because...<br/>The bungalows were value for money, the staff are very helpful and give out heaters for those who require one, we took our dog with us and I cannot see why having a dog would warrant me living in luxury, it was comfortable, clean, and having a shower was great, really warm in there and and after showering. The view's over the bay were beautiful, and the site was clean, and if it was that bad it wouldn't be open to the public.
