Booked a short break 4 nights from Tues 20th October. Unfortunately, one of the friends I was due to meet passed away a week before the break. I contacted Seaview via Hoseasons who allowed an extra night (Mon) for the funeral at no extra cost. Caravan was basic and clean. Comfy bed. All we wanted. Was a great base for walks and visiting my friends in Looe. The pool was lovely and warm, excellent for my spinal problems. Only downside, no WiFi and poor mobile signal. I needed to find a phone number and the site payphone bars 118 etc numbers. Friends had a chalet and it seemed adequate. We had the van based on price, well cheap and suited us fine. Would suggest that if you have the basic Crown caravan, you take small heaters for the bedrooms if staying during the cold months. Only a single gas heater in the main living area, but was adequate. Would have no problem stopping again and probably will be again soon.

The site is tidy, clean and friendly. Great kocation, you are on the coastal path in five minutes. Updated clubhouse and bar area is an improvement. The gripes seem to be about the chalets which are dated despite having face lifts. The caravans we have stayed in are always clean well equipped and reasonably comfortable.But...we do choose a better class one to make sure of that, and that it has been dog free, We didnt see dogs in the club and would query this as it is stated not allowed. In my ten ...- Read Guest's review (106 words)

Just returned from a week stay at Seaview, Looe(17th October 2009) in one of the 'bungallows'.
Our first impression was of the multitude of flies that covered the windows in every room. The bungallow was cold and damp and smelt 'musky'. We didn't like to complain but wish we had as things only got worse as the week carried on.
Heating was poor with just one 2 bar heater which never dried out the constant damp. On investigation in the bedrooms mould was apparent on all the exterior walls - which ...- Read Guest's review (175 words)

I have been going to Seaview Holiday Village since I was a little girl and still go there every year even 21 years on. The park is relaxing, clean with amazing views from the accomodation. There is a short distance to beautiful places like Talland Bay and Polperro not forgetting Looe. The entertainment and compere are brilliant and get everyone involved. The camp has everything to offer from laundrette to shop. The accomodation is very nice and clean. I feel like my whole familys experience to S ...- Read puntogirl's review (129 words)

I thought I had to right after reading the negative comments which almost made us decide to cancel. The Hoseasons, Seaview Holiday Village park is great and the accommodation is comfortable. It was bright and airy and the beds really comfortable. We only put £1 in the electric and it lasted all weekend for cooking, hot water, kettle and tv. The location could not be better as it is between Looe and Polperro- Read barriegreenhaf's review (87 words)

Appalling! Just come back from Seaview Holiday Village a weeks stay & would never go back. They have upgraded in places, which looks great but most is unfinished! Caravan was clean, but no extras which you get on most parks; asked for a bath mat was told housekeeper would come up - never saw anyone. Seems it hasn't improved on customer service at all; receptionist rude! Entertainer excellent - well done & bar manager too. Dogs in the club; was disgusted with that ruling!- Read Guest's review (109 words and 1 comment)

The entertainer at Hoseasons made the kids have good nights by playing games and having people come in to entertain us aswell. The chalet i stayed in was very comfortable but sometimes got chilly but me and my family had a good laugh and a jolly good time.- Read Guest's review (53 words)

We had a "sun" holiday last year at Hoseasons Seaview & had no problems at all. You pay peanuts therefore you can only expect the basic accommodation, but even that is nearly always very comfortable!! If you want the best unit then you must be prepared to pay the correct prices!
Excellent value for money; looking forward to returning as there are things happening at the park by all accounts!!!- Read Guest's review (69 words)

We booked Hoseasons, Seaview Holiday Village, last year for 2009, despite the reviews on this site; just popped in this weekend & it seems the work is flying ahead for this season! New club, outside areas, units redecorated, the list is endless..................... Perhaps people should try the park as you cannot always believe what you read............- Read Guest's review (54 words)

I have just found this website, & have clicked on Seaview Holiday Village as I spent many holidays there, but couldn't believe what other guests had written. I always found the park fantastic, clean & tidy, well looked after & good value for money.
Have just booked my holiday for this year & it seems that the park is undergoing a massive amount of work! Can't wait to see what they've done!!! Hopefully other guests will appreciate all the hard work that the staff have done this winter!!!- Read Guest's review (86 words)

Seaview Holiday Village. Excellent view from caravan, staff very helpful. Entertainment first class. Great clubhouse selling real ale, reasonable food on site. Just one small point, strong smell of dog in caravan. Next year coming back but have booked pet free van. Had a great week and it was our 40th wedding anniversary, looking forward to 2 weeks in 2009- Read Guest's review (58 words)
