we have not long left the holiday village on the 20th october 09 we had a lovely time i have two children 5 and 4 yrs the kids clubs of the evening were fab the children loved it playing games as well as learnin, it has got everything u need and so glad we went all inclusive friendly staff good food,a maid cleans ur room everyday plus fresh towels everyday,a good service over all, would recommend it and go again well worth the money even considering goin again in high season only 1 thing wrong is the 100euro refundable deposit but its ok if u give ur bank details instead.

We read the reviews before going and felt most were correct although many were moaning at very minor things. We went for a week but felt ten days would have been better as we reluctantly got back home yesterday.
Likes: the range of food especially breakfast, the cleanliness of the hotel, the kids club's long opening hours and their activities, the beach club pools which were great fun (like a water park itself), and the fantastic multi lingual staff. Everything was all inclusive so no horrible t ...

Only consider this Benalmadena hotel for all inclusive - I would not pay for this food and certainly not at the prices they charge. Be prepared to queue a lot for food and drinks but you can live with it. Be prepared for repetitive dull meals in the buffet restaurant ("La Perla"/transport caf). Lots of greasy English food (some quite nice, some not - breakfast is rubbish). I have stayed in all-inclusive hotels in the Caribbean and the food there was of much higher quality possibly since they al ...

Benalmadena, Holiday Village Apartments is the best family holiday place we have stayed. The pools are brilliant, everything is very clean, the kids club is very good and would recommend. Its very safe for the kids, make sure you go all inclusive because a pint of lager is 3.50euros. The only down side to this place was the food its basic but don't let that put you off as i would go again.

When i went to Benalmadena, Holiday Village Apartments spain I went into wavelenghth (a kids club for aged 9 to 15 year olds) and did DJ workshop, raft building, Survivor, highropes and archery - and really enjoyed them all. There are also 2 more kids clubs little satrs (2 to 5 year olds) and super stars that my brother when in (from 6 to 8 year olds)- he did archery and tri-golf he made loads of friend but we only looked into it in the second weeks of being there, I wish i had done it the first ...

Stayed for a week in May 2008 and found it very relaxing especially as the very energetic and enthusiastic kids clubs reps kept our 3 very busy from early morning to late evening. Food is great - rooms were great - Pools/Activities/Amenities all great.

In the pool Bars they have meal/snack options that are not part of the all-inclusive deal which can be annoying as the kids will always opt for these.

But overall a great place if you have kids (mine are 7 to 12 years old) - We are all set and ...

Just back from a fantastic week at the Benalmadena Holiday Village - no complaints! Accomodation is great, very spacious with a huge balcony. Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily. Pool areas and beach club superb for families, always activities on to keep children (and adults) amused. Holiday reps are fantastic with the children. Night entertainment average but keeps the kids happy. Enough choice at mealtimes to please the whole family, a la carte restaurants are great! Didn't leave the comple ...

My wife, son and I have just returned from 2 weeks at the Benalmadena Holiday Village Apartments. This was

our second trip having also stayed there in July 2008. The overarching feeling however

was that everything seems a little bit less good than last year.

The resort remains a fantastic place for kids with good facilities, kids club and

decent food but we felt that there were some aspects which had declined.

It seemed busier...there was no where to go for any peace and quiet and in the ...

We have just got back from holiday village apartments, Benalmadena, after spending 2 weeks there. overall we had a fantastic holiday & would defo go back again, we made the very big mistake of going self catering & would advise anyone to upgrade to all inclusive, u can do this when u check in at the hotel. The rooms were nice and spacious, the tv in the room has english channels but u will need to get a remote control from reception as these are not already in the room.

Stayed for 1 week at the Holiday Village Apartments, Benalmadera - came back 21 May. 2 adults, 1 14 ear old. All inclusive - wouldn't like to be self catering - shop on site really expensive (but aren't they always when on site!) - Bus to Fuengirola (15 minutes away) was 1.30 Euro, bus which went to centre of Benalmadena (5 minutes away) & on to Torresmolinos (20 minutes) was 1.15 Euros regardless of how far you went. Food shops there cheaper.
On all inclusive had lounge, kitchen, bathroom, be ...
