“Nitrogen filling added to bill without reference to...”

Having had good experiences with my local branch in Cheltenham, I recommended that my daughter took her car to ATS in Cambridge to have the wheels balanced (due to a steering wobble). On completion, she was given a price higher than anticipated, and on asking for a breakdown of costs was told that all 4 tyres had been refilled with nitrogen as 'they will stay inflated longer and preclude the need for re-balancing'. “Have a fag while I wait! ATS Cwmbran”

I have to say what a terrible service from start to finish at your Cwmbran branch. I had to wait for the person I dealt with to finish his fag before I got served, I then had to watch him shovel crisps into his mouth and use hand gestures to customers waiting because his mouth was full. Please do not use this company especially the Reading branch i had the misfortune of visiting. Wanted break pads fitted as they quoted me a reasonable price. Within 15 mins of leaving the car there they phone me and told me i needed discs also. This is simply untrue as i had an mot and service yesterday at a main dealer and got through both and the break pads only came up as an advisory. “Yet another vile experience at the hands off ATS!”

On Tuesday the 28th July 2015 I visited the Crawley branch of ATS and asked that the front tyres of my Skoda Octavia be checked as I felt the nearside in particular was bordering on illegal. The front of desk member of staff checked the tyres and insisted they were both legal and to come back in approximately 1000 miles for 2 replacements. Oh come on you cannot be serious! Here we are 22nd August and I've heard nothing, a big fat zero from your customer relations team!

The whole experience is pretty negative all around and even those who should be soothing the customer cannot give a stuff. Pretty well sums up ATS I think you'll agree!

“Tyres &Tracking”

Due to taking my camper to Norway for a holiday I had two Michelin tyres fitted in March to the front wheels and after the yearly MOT I had the wheels tracked in April one month later.(5000 miles later) after the holiday noticed that both tyres were heavily worn on the inside part of the wheel. “Terrible aftercare”

I took my dads car in for a aircon regas in ATS Barnsley, knowing my dad hates dealing with garages. To start with it was booked in at a certain time so I could go to work later that day, I was told it would take an hour, 2 hour I phoned up, and told not started yet! Another hour later phoned again, and told it was on the machine. When I picked it up later I was told that it was re gassed and they had put some leak detection dye in the system. “Can't fault these people”

This must be the fifth time I have called upon them at their Moreton, Wirral branch, for various repairs etc. Today, I needed them to check my brakes which were squealing and there was also a squealing noise coming from one of the wheels whilst driving. It turns out that there was a grommet missing from one if the brake calipers. I pad kit was ordered and fitted. No more squeaking noises. Cost, just £20.00. “Unfortunately unnecessary stress caused”

Following change of tyres a warning light came on early on a long journey. Consulting the handbook it said to stop and get it checked - but I was by this time on a motorway with at least 4hrs drive ahead of me. Stopped at services and phoned ATS but they weren't able to explain the warning light or what to do about it other than to go to another ATS. “Beware cheap MOT offerers”

Took my volvo for MOT to local ATS. Just spent lots of money on it (£800).MOT date had run out by a couple of days so popped it into ATS following return from weeks holiday (using wife's car!). Checked car over did not expect it to fail. However failed on two parts. Noisy front wheel hub and a serious leak on a front shock absorber (strut). Just had the front and rear tracking checked and adjusted as required, really impressed by the service, as a retired mechanic I am wary of garages but the lads at the Maidstone branch were great, to be fair to the good branches of ATS there should be reviews for individual branches as there seems to be a lot of negative reviews for several so its not a fair on the good branches like the Maidstone branch so come on management sort it out!… Read Full Review

“Tracking made worse, had to pay another garage to rectify”

Prior to a long road trip to Ireland I had my tracking done by ATS as the vehicle was pulling to the left. The tracking alignment was completed by a young lad at a cost of 36.99, on leaving the garage and within minutes it was obvious the pulling to the left was worse than before they'd aligned it. “Dangerous tracking”

Being a high mileage driver for over 8 years in Mercedes Benz cars, my regular tyre man noticed my tracking on rear tyres may need looking at. I do approx 80,000 miles per year for past 8 years and used 4 cars, never had this issue recently. But I looked up a local company and found ATS Long Eaton. I change my tyres every 2 months, approx 16,000 miles. “ATS Brentwood. Superb service”

I ordered my tyres on Monday and they arrived on Tuesday as promised. I arrived at 09:30 on Wednesday as arranged, I watched the technicians working as a team to remove the wheels and change the tyres. The whole process took approx 35 minutes to change 4 tyres, I paid the bill and was driving out at 10:30. That is what I call fantastic service. “MOT test and overpriced service . LITTLE HULTON ,...”

Left car for MOT test. ASTRA 11 plate. When MOT failed it was drive shaft issue which I know it's need replace. He said if I live car in garage it will be align free , so I assumed they should replace it in 9 days - before next MOT test one by law, so no point to going smwh else. I was very wrong.after 5 days he said I need to send part for reconditioning, after next week he said they cant do it.So he need order a new one - it will be circa 900 pounds!
