“Rip off merchants!”

I have a Fiat Panda Dynamic, which decided one day that it didn't want to reverse anymore. The car would go into gear but when trying to reverse the rear of the car would rise and stay put. It would go forwards after sticking a bit but any attempt to reverse failed. I had my MOT done at a the Huntingdon ATS and it was a great experience! The young man who did my MOT was very polite! Such a pleasure! He explained everything to me in a very helpful way! I would highly recommend this store as it is never a pleasure going to get your car fixed however the staff were brilliant (especially the MOT tester) which made the experience better! “Dreadful Company”

Fitted two incorrect front tyres at Cwmbran depot. Different make to what had been ordered and paid for. Initially on the phone tried to deny tyres fitted were incorrect, and this resulted in the inconvenience of travelling back to the depot to prove them wrong, which I did. Took a week for them to order the correct tyres which they fitted without so much as an apology for the inconeveince they had caused. “Good fast service, but very expensive”

I used blackcircles.com for a new tyre, and chose an ATS garage for it's convenient location. They advised me that my rear discs and pads needed replacing. I already knew they were nearly due for replacement, and I'd been having problems with the handbrake. I went to take a look, and could see it needed doing. They quoted me £210, and said it could be done quickly, so I foolishly agreed. On the plus side, they ordered the parts, and they were delivered within 20 minutes. They worked… Read Full Review

I took my car to ATS, Queens Rd Newbury for MOT, and it failed on brake calliper, and said it would cost £165.00 with labour for new calliper (but did not mention you get £35.00 refund on old calliper) then when i took it back for retest they charged me another £20 for retest,(none of the other garages ever charged me for retest) i won't be going back there again, what a rip off… Read Full Review

“ABSOLUTE DISGRACE/NEWTON ABBOT BRANCH”

“LLANELLI BRANCH! RUDE, ARROGANT, PIGS”

This afternoon I took my mazda6 into the branch to get the brakes bled as my husband had replaced the front brake pipe,but pedal was still feeling soft. As soon as we got there, the old, fat, bloke that obviously checks the brakes snatches the keys and decides to drive my car at speed in the public car park, slamming on the brakes. Stay away from Llangefni ATS. Dropped car off in morning for MOT. Told them I would be back at 5 and to give me a ring if anything needed doing to get it passed. No phone call so thought all was good till I got into reception and they handed me a list as long as my arm. So I asked how much to sort it and the lad picked the phone up pressed one button and instantly asked price on wishbone ball joint then put phone down. Looked at me and said it will be a £100. I took my Landrover Freelander to ATS at Clacton on Sea in September 2014, as both rear tyres had become badly worn, especially on the outside. I was advised that I needed two new tyres and a four wheel computer alignment check. I agreed for this action and was charged £60.52 for this procedure. “Bad service”

I booked my car in for an interim service to keep my warranty valid and specifically asked for my service book to be stamped. During the service they informed me that I would need 2 new tyres which I agreed to. They were working on my car for over 2 hours, just to change 2 tyres and complete an interim service and at points there were 3 of them working on it and all 3 looking under the bonet - when there was nothong wrong with the car! I was hearing a scraping sound from my vehicle so I took it to ATS Herefordshire Where my car remained for 24 hours. Was told it needed brake pads. Ime not disputing that fact. We are forced to use ATS for company cars, they *ALWAYS* lie to you. Every single time they book an appointment then phone up 30 minutes before to tell you the tyres are not in stock, WHY DIDN'T YOU KNOW THAT WHEN YOU BOOKED THE APPOINTMENT?!?!?!?!?!? “Cannot say enough good things about Brixton team”

While visiting London on a business trip I found myself with a flat tyre and a long drive ahead of me. The team at ATS were happy to diagnose the problem with my brand new tyre, they thoroughly tested it and explained the problem. They put the spare on for me (after helping me unpack all the luggage from the boot!), wrote out a job sheet for me to take back to my mechanic and didn't charge me a penny! Leaving this quick review before writing a letter to ombudsman services. My car had the front drivers brake caliper sticking on so I pulled in at a ATS in Dumfries. I explained that I really needed the problem sorted asap as I had a long drive ahead of me. One member of staff put the car on the ramp whilst the manager phoned a parts dealer and got prices for discs, pads and new calipers.
