We took our car to KWIK FIT to have a puncture repaired. A new lad was there, and he did our tyre. I could tell he was new because he kept asking one of the older men there if he had done something right, or what he should do next. It wasn't until the job was done that we saw the damage to the alloy wheel, which the man in charge said was already there. It was obvious from the lads shifty and uncomfortable behaviour that he was feeling guilty about something, but because the older man insisted t ...

I have had to return 3 times now in total to get my exhaust replaced. They were very nice about it and dealt with it as soon as I arrived in the center. They told me they had ordered a new exhaust last week and I dropped the car off on Saturday to have it replaced.
I made mistake of leaving the car with them and not watching what they were doing. I don't even think they did anything other than make it worse.
My car sounds worst than it did before I had the exhaust replaced. I can now feel ...

Just had to fix my partners brake squeal which started after KwitFix fitted new pads. She's taken it back three times and have been unable to fix the problem but just given her excuses.

Turns out they'd neglected to grease the anti-squeal shims, all about 20 seconds worth of work costing pretty must nothing.

Took my car into York Kwik Fit for a service, they phoned me and told me that I needed work doing to the amount of £250 plus 4 new tyres. Amongst other things they told me I needed a new battery and 2 new coil springs (1 was needed not the other), took to another and they told me I only needed one coil spring and the battery was fine, then went to a tyre shop and was told i didnt need to change any of my tyres. So if I had just paid up I would have spent about £250 on work that did ...

There was a very loud squeal coming from my corsa that ceased everytime I touched the brake pedal, strange I thought, so I took it to kwik fit for a brake test to identify the problem, They only removed the front wheels to examine the front brakes and said nothing was wrong and that it was probably some dirt caught in the pad which would go on it's own. The noise was getting worse so I decided to go a main dealer for a proper diagnosis, It turned out it was one of the rear discs that was faulty, ...

Never again! I do not trust those people anymore! Took my car to Kwik Fit Tyre and Exhaust Centre to have its brake pads+discs changed, took them over 2hrs to tell me they would not be able to get hold of the parts then decided to HAMMER everything that had been taken off back on which obviously resulted in a broken pad which in turned resulted in the brake pedal going right to the floor as I was leaving the center and me nearly crashing! Thanks but no thanks!

I purchased 2 tyres from kwikfit and paid £340 for 2 dunlops. The guys fitted the tyres really fast while i waited. However when i arrived home i checked Kwik Fit online to find the same tyres where £40 less per tyre. When i contacted the customer services i was told they would not refund the difference, and that it is not the guys job at the tyre centre to advise you that if you order online you could save money.Buyer beware and check on line in advance even if you have to wait a couple ...

Cheaper than going to dealership but think again. My MOT and Service took 6 days! I won't go back to Kwik Fit again. I can't believe it's a tire specialist as they put a wrong tire on my car and even had the cheek to charge me with the correct tire size. So i paid for the right one but they put a different one in the hope that i don't recognize it!

My car was making a bad noise so i dropped it into Kwik Fit. After checking it over, they gave me a very long list of things that needed to be done - over a thousand pounds. This meant i might as well scrap the car - it wasn't worth that much. My mun persuaded me to get her mechanic to look at it - half the things that Kwik fit said needed doing were absolutely fine (the brakes, disc pads, shock absorbers etc). I got it completely done for £450. they shouldn't be able to get away wit ...

Brilliant MOT and Service on my old car. Kwik Fit Tyre and Exhaust Centre made me feel comfortable despite being a young woman on my own, they could've easily told me anything and I would've believed them but the car, despite being old, passed first time and they didn't try to sell me anything. Very happy. (This was the Cambridge centre, I can't vouch for any others).

Our exhaust was blowing as rear box had hole in, just arriving at Chippenham there was a bang and box was hanging by bracket.Went to Kwik fit + they said had to wait about 1 hr to look as they were busy, took details + called when had had a look + said needed back silencer and middle pipe for our Saxo £145.00.Asked if only back could be changed and told no -they were not very easy to talk to and they knew we were stuck if we didn't buy it. on wall poster shows £58 for middle and bac ...

i took the car again to kwikfit, told them what they did wrong to the steering wheel, they put it on the rumb for 15 mints, i don't know what they did, the guy told me to take it and i dont even need to check it as he was so confedent, it was 5 mints later when i found out that the steering wheel is now worse than before, i gave up i'll be taking it to any other place to get it done, and my advice now to everyone, stay away from kwikfit.

Went to Royston Kwik Fit to have a slow puncture repaired and 2 wheels balanced. They could not find the puncture but balanced the 2 wheels. They charged me £20:50p....Before I left the premises I thought that seems a lot for 2 balanced wheels, so I checked my receipt which had 4 crome dust caps added, When I complained they refunded my money and said they made a mistake but I was the only car on their premises at the time so how can that mistake have happened.

I went into Kwik Fit Tyre and Exhaust Centre for a loose handbrake. They tightened this up for free, which I was very grateful for, but also said I needed a new offside front tyre.Fine I thought and paid them £60 for this. It was obvious driving back that the steering was off and I was struggling to keep the car in a straight line. It was pulling left. I checked the tyre pressures and they were all over the place so i equalised them, but it didnt fix it so I went back. They did something ...

Took my wifes Honda Civic in for a exhaust check at Kwik Fit Tyre & Exhaust as it seemed a little loud. They changed the Middle Exhaust (just out of warranty after 3 years) & Oil & Filter change(which i was expecting to pay for) - All for free....i still can't get my head round why i didn't pay for the oil & filter change at least.....;-)) i did ask him...he said it's OK.

Took my car in for the free oil change, checked the day before by phone that they had the oil and filter in. Arrived at 08:30 found a queue of people. Waited until it died down then booked my car in, was then told that they didn't have the oil or filter in stock and I'd have to wait an hour. The hour turned into 3. However, after 3 hours, car was ready and off I went. I'm not sure it was fitted back on properly so I had to jack up the car and temporarily fix the cover back on before going to Vol ...
