After Glasto 2 years ago this was a must at the Etihad. Telling it as it is the support acts were a dreadful waste off time. Yes they made a noise but were far removed from the sound the crowd really wanted. The rocking songs and anthems were just brill as was the whole performance and theatrical display. But it was noticable with the self indulgent dirges that special effects were used to distract the audience from the quite honestly boring tedium of it all this also applied to the dreadful Animals when neat projected imagery was shown. Excellent but slightly marred by the over ego'd dirges. Stick with what you do best boys!

This is my third Muse gig now (MEN in November and LCCG In 2010) but Muse never fail to disappoint me, despite all my fears they always produce an amazing set and incorporate crazy little features that other bands just won't look at. They're becoming storytellers as well as musicians and whilst it is rare for them to play a small stage now, I completely understand why. They're a STADIUM band, the way in which the songs are wrote just fits perfectly for large arenas because the sound fills it, a problem for most bands. I must admit I was abut disappointed when the support acts were first announced but Bastille are going to be a great band one day and Dizzee Rascal was a great way to get the crowd going before Muse. In terms of the set it was great once again, linking modern favourites such as Supermassive Black Hole with rare songs for the more dedicated fan such as Bliss and Deadstar. Incorporating flame jets actors and acrobats (I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet) I believe in terms of live performance, you won't find a better live band. Legs aching and vocal chords thoroughly destroyed, thank you Muse for quite possibly the greatest setlist I've heard live.

This was a last minute purchase after an email from Double8tickets.com saying Muse tickets available for both London and Manchester events. We opted for London and even though we travelled for 6 hours from the West coast of Cumbria- wow was it worth it!Best price! We enjoyed watching Bastille and Dizzee Rascal even though I wouldn't go and see them as a stand alone. When Muse came on it was 2 hours of energy, entertainment and fun- the crowd came alive. The animations were fab and funny.Only seen Muse once before in 2010-tickets were purchased from Double8tickets that time as well but this time topped that one, maybe it was because we were in the crowd- not sure- it was none stop from start to finish and the time just flew by.Once again a fabulous night out. Many thanks to Muse for their great lyrics, music and entertainment and many thanks to Double8tickets for the email!Hotels were difficult to find at a reasonable price-we didn't know about the football or the boxing scheduled for the same night-luckily got 1 through points I have.

2 days ago I saw Muse concert in Munich, Germany. It's my first concert of them, but surely not the last! They are just amazing, they performed 22 songs, powerful, rock, psychedelic, original... Their music touched my soul and inspired me so much.. Matthew's voice is incredible and from the instrumental point of view I just can say PERFECTION. Apart from their ability, they are also great entertainers. I'm so glad to have seen them, I listen often to their songs but I can say that their music live is better than any recorded songs. And it's not a thing you can say of every band playing live.... So, if you love music and you like live concerts, then choose MUSE! I saw other bands in the past, but no one is comparable to Muse.

Muse are a awesome band. There Songwriting, performance, musicianship, originality and vocals are great. On the downside they play Huge venues vs. smaller clubs. Willfully pretentious.

Muse are truly amazing live! If there's one band to catch, it's them. The stage show is incredible, and they really put their heart and soul into the performance. The songs are better live and have so much emotion. The crowd is buzzing and obviously very energetic. Having been to many concerts in my time, Muse really do win my vote for the best live show I've seen. Massive TV screens at the back of the stage, screening weird and wonderful images, and Dom (drummer) was hidden inside an octagonal shape with TV monitors all over it - he appeared half way through the first song.
I can't wait to see how they perform at Wembley Stadium in the summer...

Muse - Kicking off the show with a most powerful opener, 'Hysteria,' they really embrace the stage for all it's worth, and even more. Lights and fog, synchronized with each other, reels in the crowd, and from there, the energy doesn't stop flowing. Playing a wide range of songs, from, 'Sing for Absolution,' to 'Plug in Baby,' they like to keep you on your toes. They make even the softest ballads like 'Blackout,' something to jump to. Downtime between songs is usually filled with random riffs, from oldies, and impromptu. Ending the show with their hardest, most captivating song to date, 'Stockholm Syndrome,' the crowd erupted for one last time. Not ending too quickly however, they drug it out, with a heavy, groove-feeling riff that could have kept going forever, and the crowd would have rocked them on. Glasto' has definitely been one of their absolutly best performances to date.
